This might be a dumb question, but couldn't you just get around the 6 month commitment by not having any funds in paypal when a payment is due, since they take it out a month at a time?

Not that I want to or anything, just wondering.

Guess that depends on how your Paypal is set up. I don't keep funds in my Paypal at all, but it's tied to my bank account so it just bills me via EFT when my account gets charged.

I would just assume that they wouldn't let you use Paypal if yours wasn't set such that it had a bank account/cc attached.

Oh nm. Thought it was an xbox credit

This is how recurring xbox payments were set up when I worked there. You could get live with a paypal account, but it had to be tied to bank account/cc. Now what would be stopping you from just deleting your paypal in the month you decide you no longer want it, im not sure

I mean probably nothing exactly stops this, but I imagine they'd go the collections route.

with Xbox they never went to collections what they did was keep that information and if the person ever wanted to sign up with the same credit card or name again they would have to pay whatever remaining balance they had when they cancelled the card

Yeah, depends on what a company wants to do I guess. Having been sent to collections for a ****ing $3 late fee at Blockbuster that I was unaware of, I figured that was a possible route for WWE enforcing a six-month contract.

I worked at Blockbuster and within my first couple days of working there a woman came in going crazy because she had a tiny amount sent to collections. It's been nearly 15 years but I think the number was sub 1 dollar. It was definitely less than 3. Being my first job, I was shell shocked, but from there on out I learned that if anything was even slightly bothering to me my next words out of my mouth were "I'll get the manager." Thank god I haven't been in retail in 8 years or so.

These little flashback segments that they put on in between shows on the live feed are very enjoyable.

Is NXT worth starting to watch? Are achieved episodes on WWEN?

Yeah the ep that just aired was okay. It's available right after airing in the archives, so it should be there now.

I enjoyed the way they edited everyone to say "Last week" on NXT. I don't understand why they go to such effort to make people think it's a live show.

When I go full screen on PC (have a 30" monitor if that makes a difference) for any video the video goes slow moving at like 3-5 frames at a time instead of a smooth vid if anybody knows what I mean. Kind of sucks. Watching Royal Rumble 2001 and want to watch full screen but d/l'ing it instead because of the problem .

Full screen hasn't been an issue for me at all, but that's just on a laptop screen.

Just watched Piper-Valentine dog collar match from Starrcade '83. Very solid match.

My trial ended today. They sent an email out asking for me to complete a survey as to why I quit. I'll probably sign-up once they get out the smart TV apps. Once I'm able to watch this on my TV without hooking a laptop up through HDMI they'll have my money.

You're the only other guy on this forum who shares my Piper hate, so if you say one of his matches are solid I have to watch it.

It's not exactly fast-moving nor is it a technical masterpiece, but as bloody brawls go it's done well.

Also I find that the more I see old Piper the more appreciation I have for him. Almost everything after WM III is complete and utter garbage though, with the two exceptions being his match with Bret at WM VIII and his shoot on Russo in TNA.

Saw a finish the other day from the Attitude Era that I had forgotten about that was still fairly amusing. Shamrock vs. Mankind for the IC title (Shamrock as champion). Shamrock gets Mankind in the ankle lock, which he insisted he would make Mankind tap out to. Mankind refuses to tap but can't seem to get out of the hold, so he sticks the mandible claw in his own mouth and passes out from it. Referee calls the match over. Ring announcer says, "The winner, as the result of the mandible claw, Ken Shamrock." Shamrock, despite winning, was pissed. That's probably the only time the ring announcer has ever announced what move the wrestler won on.

Watch the promo I talked about early in the thread of him "escaping" Alcatraz to fight Hogan. It reaches so bad it's good territory.

It really was the worst thing in the world when Piper showed up in WCW. That whole run was just brutal. Him and Flair cutting a promo: "You want to call us dinosaurs?? WELL JURASSIC PARK WAS ONE OF THE HIGHEST GROSSING MOVIES OF ALL TIME!" ****ing kill me.
