He annoyed me back then even before this, but I'm sure that at least 80% of the level of absolute vitriol I feel for the guy can be traced back to the Arn Anderson parody. Of course he still shrugs at that whole situation and blames any controversy on Arn's wife getting upset.
1. Not an amazing pic.
2. You're ringside, jus there as a fan, as Taker appears to be threatening to throw Foley off the cage all the way to the floor. You're trying to take a picture? WTF is wrong with you?
So Peacock appears to employ some sort of software that keeps a person from even screenshotting their content. I tried one, then pasted it and it's just a blank window. Like taking a picture of a ghost.
Was going to screengrab 1:41:50 of the 3/2/98 Nitro, because Stacy Keibler - at that point having no association to the business - was in the crowd holding up a sign saying "WHAT'S UP BALTIMORE?" In related news, you definitely have to look like Stacy Keibler for that sign to somehow merit its own close-up.
Yeah, I can't find any workaround. Can't screenshot on phone either. Well, there goes any chance of me ever adding more content to the MNW thread. Network sale to Peacock was such a beat.
Ah, yeah I guess there's that. I tried searching Google images to see if someone else had put it up there, and no dice on the Baltimore one, but apparently there were other instances of this.
Couldn't you just pause it and use Snipping Tool if using Peacock on web? Or does pausing it fill the screen with ads and junk? FWIW I haven't tried this myself but just speculating

Nope, doesn't work. It blacks out the actual content. You end up seeing this as your screengrab.
Yeah, Peacock sucks about that stuff. For the same reason you can't take a picture, you also can't run the video to another monitor with HDMI. It's pretty dumb.
Nitro in North Carolina on 3/9/98. Ric Flair comes out for an in-ring interview. Fan on the hard camera side holds up a sign saying "FLAIR MADE CHARLOTTE." Odd, since I think she was still going by Ashley then.
While he's not completely over-the-top about it, I actually think Bobby Heenan worked harder in WCW to put Eddie Guerrero over than he did to put anyone else over. This started right away when Eddie debuted, and he kept it up consistently. Clearly just spotted a special talent and described him that way accordingly. It didn't become part of his gimmick to idolize him the way he had done in the past with Flair, but it just came across very clearly that he was a fan.
Kind of similar to the way Gorilla Monsoon coined "Excellence of Execution" about Bret Hart when he was just a tag wrestler and would always go out of his way to hype him up.
Lion Tamer was such an elite finisher. Walls of Jericho, just a garden-variety Boston crab, was so not.
The thing is that the Boston crab is a move that you can buy as legit painful if you used it as a shoot hold and really cranked back, but sorry, it just doesn't look like anything (unless you're HHH and you just tore your quad). Lion Tamer with real force looks like one of the most painful submission holds I can think of.
