and unrelated but since I'm here: TLF's Wargames stuff is really good thus far. I'm ~5 hours into it but dripping with unknown info, to me at least.
Ha; I always forget that PE was in WWF since I wasn't watching closely at that point. To be fair, I would also probably take them over DOA. DOA was just 100% worthless.

It's possible Harlem Heat never had any sort of formal breakup until quite a bit later, but Booker definitely got a singles push pre-2000, since it included things like a great best-of-7 series with Chris Benoit to win a title (maybe the TV Title). I remember, when the nWo split off into having the Wolfpack and people like Sting and Luger joined, it looked to me like Booker would become at least one of the key supporting characters for the WCW group after DDP and Goldberg.

Obviously could be a thing where Booker got going in singles during a Stevie Ray injury or something.

Re: **WWE NETWORK THREAD**

It's consistently annoying when WCW pretended that Hogan and Piper had practically identical legendary careers. "These two men have paralleled each other's careers." No they ****ing haven't. Piper was really big; Hogan was still a much, much bigger deal beyond any reasonable comparison. I realize that lying/exaggerating to build a match is something promotions have always done, but this one was just always so ridiculous, and I'm honestly surprised that Hogan was okay with humoring it even for purposes of building to a PPV payday.

Re: **WWE NETWORK THREAD**

At the end of Havoc '97, a fan climbs into the cage to try to take a run at Hogan. They showed so much of this run-in with the fan that I'm puzzled to this moment about whether or not it was actually a fan just running in as a shoot. It actually seems like ti was, but I've just never seen a company actually show an actual fan run-in at length the way they did to end that show.
