Never thought I'd see a collection dedicated to losing. BTW check your PMs.

Yeah, she's not very good, but I don't think she's quite as awful as most are saying. Either that, or it doesn't bother me as much.

I don't really think the women are measurably worse than the guys with the kicked out reactions. Agree completely with your second point.

Re: **WWE NETWORK THREAD**

Granted that I was only commenting as to a few matches, but part of it is that they were being really demonstrative about kickouts on what seemed like transition moves. It was like Bret Hart being shocked that the Russian legsweep didn't finish the match.

I would love to go through a Barry Horowitz or Duane Gill collection

Out of curiosity, do you have a clear all-time favorite wrestler from what you’ve watched so far?
The Rock is seriously overtaking everyone else I previously had as a fave

80s - early 90s when I was young was clearly Warrior and Hogan

Mid 93 - 96 since Ive started watching and catching up via the network, really enjoyed Shane Douglas, Eddie Guerrero and Benoit

98 and 99 so far WWE has been amazing, love the McMahon Austin and Mankind stuff but the Rock is just killing it in and out of the ring

I find if Im just watching the network half-focused indirectly while doing something else, my attention will be grabbed and I'll properly watch whenever the Rock is cooking something

I miss when the WWF/E allowed fans in the arena for RAW.

Hadn't seen this since it originally aired. Mick's so good on the mic. Rock too, I suppose . "The dozens.....AND DOZENS!!!"

Agree. I am not a Roman hater, but he gives the "omg really" when someone kicks out of the Superman punch despite the fact that it has earned exactly 0 lifetime pinfalls.

Capitol Wrestling footage on the Network would be ace.

Somehow I missed this. Those collections would be interesting.

Re: **WWE NETWORK THREAD**

For those who are watching the Mae Young Classic, the first match had some of the worst commentary I've ever heard. Jesus.

Also that match was really sloppy. I'm sure Io Sharai is good, but through 2 matches here, she hasn't impressed me at all. Not even in the top 2 Japanese women.

Re: **WWE NETWORK THREAD**

Back in the mid-90s, nothing excited me more than heel turns. Some of the heel turns I called for were realistic and did happen, and others were pipe dreams.

Back in the run-up to Undertaker vs. IRS at the 1995 Royal Rumble, IRS and his manager Ted DiBiase had bought off some masked druids who kept helping them out. The idea was clearly that the Million Dollar Corporation had bought off some help from Undertaker's world. Then the Rumble event happened and IRS randomly came to the ring without the druids. Jerry Lawler, on commentary, repeatedly pointed out how odd that was. Dudes in druid costumes ended up coming in and running interference for IRS, but there was no unmasking, no payoff. The only thing that made sense to me at the time, and I still stand by it today, was that they were setting up a babyface to turn on Taker who would get unmasked as one of the druids. But there was no payoff.

It still makes sense to me that they were probably setting up a heel turn and plans changed. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any info on this point. I guess it's possible that they were always planning on going with the inevitably boring Taker-Bundy match at WM XI.

Re: **WWE NETWORK THREAD**

I was excited about the Million Dollar Corp. story line about Luger turning and was actually excited when T-t-t-t-tanka did.

Just imagine how shocked you would have been if Sheik Tugboat had headlined WM VII against Hogan.
