Yep, it's my favoutire Rey match and maybe even my favourite Nitro era WCW match. I also love Eddie's entrance as well, the look on his face is so good. The theme is so super but I love it, I was even an lWo mark. With that said, what are some great 96+ era WCW matches? I can't think of too many off the top of my head but there's bound to be a few.
Going back to the screwjob stuff, I have some questions.
My cable stopped carrying Raw at the start of 97 and didn't get it back until 3 weeks after SS so I could only watch PPVs and missed the build for the whole feud. Is it worth going back and watching and if so where do I start?
My other questions are about the screwjob itself. Is it true Bret had some ludicrous 20 year contract with WWE and Vince kind of had buyer's remorse and wanted to let him out of it to sign with WCW, this was agreed upon, Bret negotiated with WCW and that there was prior knowledge before SS that Bret was leaving? If that's true is there roughly a timeline of when these events happened starting with Vince having second thoughts. I've seen the documentary but it was over 15 years ago and don't seem to remember much.

Think he's watching chronologically, so he would already be past Havoc.
I haven't seen either of those matches in forever.
You should definitely go back and watch when you have a chance. Neither are too long and they're still great. HH 97 was one of the first matches I watched when the network came out and I've seen it a few more times since. It's just really easy to watch.
