It's funny the quality on my stream was perfect the last 45m or so. Noticeably better than earlier. probably because a lot of people were kicked off or feed dropped etc like reported ITT

It's really ballsy of WWE to have Wrestlemania be the first PPV of WWE Network. Imagine if something similar tonight happens to Mania...

I've found that when bubbles don't show up on the timeline that maximizing the window will show them and keep them if you want to watch it minimized as well. Has worked the few times I've tried.

Friday has arrived and still no 360 support. Kinda a shame

I am really worried about Mania being a giant cluster*#$&. This is probably going to be the most streamed event ever and there were major glitches with their NXT "test" run. Not only is their site gonna be bombarded, but things out of WWE's control, like will local cable companies be able to handle the bandwidth barrage?

I searched "Lesnar vs" to find some Lesnar matches. This was the 5th or 6th result and funny enough no Lesnar matches were before this...

Last night I got on the app about 10:30 with the thought I'd watch something else and take in the NXT event tomorrow (today). The only thing I could do was watch the live stream, as in when I went to the app the stream opened. If I backed out of the stream it took me out of the app. Got to see Cesaro vs. Rami though, amazing, but yeah it was sort of frustrating I couldn't do anything else, but it's all good.

So I mentioned that Wrestling Classic from 1985 was pretty bad. It's a tournament, and trying to rush a whole tournament into that timeframe basically meant that it was a ridiculous series of matches that would end in 5 minutes. The time constraints I sort of understand, but the ridiculous AIDS endings that riddle the whole show are facepalm-worthy. Unbelievably, even the championship match of the tournament ends on a countout instead of a pin.

Savage-Steamboat is decent but never really gets going with the time they're given; Savage-Dynamite is pretty awesome in the time it gets and is easily the best match on the card, but even that ends way too quickly.

Last night watched The Big Event from 1986 and I didn't like it a ton better. Steamboat-Jake is a solid no DQ match that gets good time, Hogan-Orndorff is a decent Hogan match. Besides that, meh. Might have actually liked Wrestling Classic better just because it at least features Randy Savage and Dynamite Kid on a constant basis throughout the show.

Probably time to mix it up with some late 90's/early 00's wrestling for my next viewing.

I tried to watch New Blood Rising to see if it was as bad as everyone says. It's even worse, I couldn't finish it. I made it to Demon vs. Sting then I had to turn it off.

I watched BATB 1996 because it was before my time as a fan and I really wanted to see the birth of the NWO.

Opening match of RMJ vs Psychosis was great as I've seen mentioned here and elsewhere. Ending was a nice piece of wrestling history. In between - holy aids. There was a "sock full of silver dollars on a pole" match and a four man dog collar match. So today I learned WCW had been doing crap like this way earlier than the year or two before they were bought. Now I think they'd probably have gone under sooner but they got lucky with the NWO angle and it bought them a few years. To be fair there was a nice Malenko/Disco Inferno match in there and some Horsemen stuff that may have been good but I skipped over because I was ready to watch the ending.

And wow were the announcers terrible. The broadcast literally opens with "Welcome to the greatest night in the history of our sport." About the only time much attention was paid to the in ring action is when Mike Tenay was on, but he only did the first match that I saw. Schiavone, Heenan, and Dusty may as well have been the current Cole, Lawler, and JBL. They fit the roles perfectly. And Heenan GIVES AWAY HOGAN'S TURN as soon as Hogan comes out. So bad.

Anyway I'm loving the network and have had no issues watching on PS3. I planned to just watch This is NXT and the PPV but got sucked in and watched stuff all night. Take my money Vince, you did something right for once.

I guess this is turning into the viewing thread too, so that's cool. So I'll ask this question...WHAT THE HELL WAS WCW DOING WITH SHOCKMASTER?

OK, so his debut is one of the more LOL things in wresting history, but from that point forward why did they do what they did? They dressed him like a construction worker and still called him the Shockmaster? I understand he probably had a contract, but after that debut they could have went with a totally different gimmick for the guy and the 1992/1993 fans wouldn't have really ever caught up. They could have just changed him to the Construction Worker gimmick at that point and killed the Shockmaster.

What's funny is during Battle Bowl and Starcade he got pretty good pops, not huge or anything but the crowd seemed a little pumped to see him take on the likes of the Awesome Kongs. He moved around pretty good for a big guy (I know he was Typhoon and Tugboat as well) and the crowd didn't totally hate him. Why go with Shockmaster as a construction worker. It really seems like WCW said, well F it, where what you want to.
