rollins is so boring, i didn't even know who he was when all you mopes were cheering for him after he ran in and took the title at wrestlemania, look what you have wrought
It was literally him or Reigns. Would you want Reigns instead? As gus said, if they booked him good and brought out his strengths instead of his weaknesses, he'd be fine. He also doesn't need an hour of screen time every RAW. I don't put much of it on Seth.

At this point they do need an exit strategy from the Rollins title reign though. The push has been valuable in legitimizing him, but a guy with great, flashy in-ring work who sucks on the mic shouldn't be a heel.

I like his mic work, I don't know why people are so down on it.

He is good on the mic. Unfortunately this is another side effect of the 3 hour RAW. What should be just the occasional 5-7 minute promo on RAW becomes the 10-15 minute promo every week, and sometimes multiple times a week. No one can look good talking that much. I will say that you can almost see when Seth is staling for time or trying to turn a 5 minute promo into 10 +, but he is in an almost impossible situation

Sorry, but the guy really is not good on the mic.

This is true. The one time I tuned into RAW, he got "boring" chants. It summed up how I felt about it as well.

The overexposure defense would maybe resonate if I could name a single promo of his that I enjoyed. And obviously there have been a ton of chances by now to cut at least one.

Maybe good wasnt the bast choice of words. More like capable on the mic. The reason for the boring chants is because he is stretching promos way too long.

Rollins title reign has been a complete joke... This guy has so much talent, the WWE is wasting it. If he was actually booked right, this guy could out work anyone on the roster. He was a legend back in ROH.

WWE 24 about the NXT Brooklyn show is a pretty good watch.

Just noticed the ECW TV's now go up to 1998.

Awesome! Their 1997 is easily one of the best years in wrestling. Having some of this stuff in near HQ now is tremendous. Watching Bam Bam win the belt. Can usually only find this is really bad barely watchable quality. Definitely watching their "As good as it gets" event after. It takes up 3 weeks of ECW TV and is just like the title says. One of the best events, ever. It includes the bloodbath that everybody knows between Alfonso and Beulah but has so much more.

Just caught the WWE 24 NXT show. Really good show with a lot of backstage footage of the wrestlers preparing for the Brooklyn PPV. Highly recommended.

Hate that the Network doesn't air the original ECW broadcasts. With the originals themes and language.

Yeah, I have to say that Bam Bam coming out to generic **** #24 in that match I mention takes a lot of the experience away when he was coming out to "welcome to the jungle". Then generic **** #25 is New Jack's which was, of course, "natural born killaz" that played through entire matches. Even Spike's "Highway to hell" and FBI's "stayin alive" makes me hate WWE for changing them.

How good was Bret Hart vs Jean Pi... the pirate guy, from IYH 3? For all the **** the storyline gets, my God what a match.

I don't understand your question.

Meaning the music will be public domain soon so they can use it for free I think

I don't really know patent law, but 25 years sure sounds like a short period of time for ownership rights to lapse.

To put it really simply - with a few exceptions - it's 95 years.

The only law when it comes to intellectual property and rights these days is how rich and powerful the company holding/wanting the rights are.

Thanks for the tip!

Also really looking forward to this "WWE Breaking Ground" thing...

I just watched it as well, and really enjoyed it. Probably the best one they have done so far. I really think its shows like this plus probably scripted shows both wrestling and non wrestling related are going to help the Network grow more than shows like Swerved and Jerry Springer will
