I hope Bray goes over in 3 minutes at HiaC because having this character wrestle for 20 minutes doesn't seem like a good idea. He'll just be another guy.
I'm wrong again. I left the last episode of RAW after the Austin appearance at the beginning. Even the description gives it away
Quote:
Bray Wyatt and good friends Mercy The Buzzard, Huskus the Pig Boy and others return to “Firefly Fun House” to discuss stranger danger and what awaits Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.
Show wasn't amazing but I enjoyed it since this might have been Becky's best night since Mania. Cut a tremendous promo, had the best match of the night (imo), great brawl where she looked really strong. And Sasha was excellent too so I'm liking that feud a bunch.
I also enjoyed The Revival tonight, probably since I'm also pretty tired of New Day/pancakes at this point.
-Becky's best promo in awhile, Sasha/Becky was probably MOTN. Sasha loses but in a way that keeps her strong.
-Harper was cool, gave some life to the Roman/Rowan feud which had little ceiling before it. Also gave a path to Rowan having any meaning after Roman inevitably does his thing.
-Revival>New Day cool, New Day suck. And good post-match promo by them.
-Bayley>Charlotte cheap cool.
-Kofi/Orton meh. Kofi's run has stalled big time, they either gotta get him some help to rejuvenate his title run or strap somebody else. Not a very good match.
-It seems as though they're building to is Nikki being built as the muscle of the group who is unapologetically loyal to her first friend Alexa, and Alexa eventually growing tired of Nikki (both bc of her attachment and bc of jealousy that Nikki is seen as stronger) and turning on her, if so, I like it.
-I think they shoulda opened the show with Rollins/Braun. They coulda done the same thing (Rollins needs a bunch of finishers to beat Braun), but it woulda made the tag match much more interesting seeing Rollins/Braun try to co-exist after Rollins went over. Roode/Ziggler could still go over, only this time instead of the reason being an accidental slip up it could be because Braun finally lost it due to his anger about losing the title match. Braun leaves, Roode/Ziggler go over, they celebrate, Rollins stands in ring in shock, Fiend does his thing, show over. Similar outcomes all around, but better storytelling imo. The way they did it just felt messy and inorganic.
-Nakamura had to win. Sami is killing it, and his promos about Nakamuras greatness hold less meaning if he's not strapped. Miz doesn't need a belt. Particularly face Miz. Fans will cheer him regardless and he's been around long enough it's tough to really bury him.
