Flair seems like a great guy to hang out with. But his podcast is just him shooting the **** with old friends of his. I'm surprised that, despite his reputation as one of the best in-ring performer of his generation, he doesn't talk about the nuts and bolts of wrestling, preferring instead to tell road trip stories with his old friends.
Don't get me wrong. It's a really interesting podcast. But Austin, for example, goes through the thought processes of matches in his podcast, while Flair just doesn't seem to take wrestling as seriously. (Flair could have never done Austin's Del Wilkes' podcast, for example.)
Also surprised that Flair thinks Jumbo Tsuruta "never learned to work" considering his outstanding reputation among All Japan fans. Although he might have meant that Jumbo worked too stiffly.
