Just spent the past 20 minutes looking at all of the different WON awards handed out, because I could have sworn the Wrestler of the Year award was named after DB. Apparently it was Technical Wrestler of the Year.

Anyway, there are some really good awards given out. I think my favorite was 1991 Worst Match of the Year going to PN News and Bobby Easton vs Terry Taylor and Steve Austin. If you haven't seen that, I highly recommend you look it up. It was a Capture the Flag scaffold match and wow it was a pile of suck. It was so bad that it beat the Chamber of Horrors match for the award that year

Yeah, the Intrepid thing led to Summerslam 93, the single most atrocious ending to a PPV ever imo, which lead to rumble 94 which lead to WM 10, and the exact same ending only done right and with somebody else.
