When you have heard 2-3 songs, you have heard them all
1. Guy is upset over redneck things like missing dogs, trucks and women
2. Girl is upset guy is a dolt and cheated on her sweet ass
3. Girl is happy that guy is the bees knees.
Add a poorly played acoustic guitar for some rhythm and a hat and voila....country music

Since this forum loves country music so much, I feel the need to continue to discuss it.
I have tried to put together a list of songs of Garth Brooks' that I would consider my favourite in no particular order. Thoughts? Also, there are way too many good ones.
When You Come Back to Me Again
Belleau Wood
In Another's Eyes
I Don't Have to Wonder
The River
Shameless
Papa Loved Mama
Rodeo
I'll Be The Wind
The Red Strokes
Callin' Baton Rouge
Ain't Goin' Down
Standing Outside the Fire
The Dance
The Change
If Tomorrow Never Comes
Unanswered Prayers
Two Pina Coladas
That Summer
Ireland
The Fever
Somewhere Other Than The Night
I could probably shrink this list, but man that would be difficult.

spelling everything out for LKJ, but since he was just trolling, carry on discussing your music that requires an inbred cousin to listen to.
You see gents, the irony of this line of attack is as follows:
The reason that the American south is routinely denigrated is because there is a significant demographic that lives down there who is intolerant and ignorant, with much of their intolerance existing because of their ignorance.
It is, shall we say, interesting that the poor attempts at urban elitism that we see on this page have resulted from largely the same exact level of intolerance and ignorance, even though it's far less harmful, dangerous or important than that described in the former paragraph since it is about a triviality such as a music genre instead of about race.
In short: regardless of the gravitas or lack thereof owed to the subject at hand, you may wish to actually be informed on topics which you weigh in on going forward in life if you wish to retain credibility.
If most of your knowledge of the country genre is based on little tidbits like "I think Toby Keith put out a xenophobic song over a decade ago," that generally doesn't suffice as having the knowledge required to posit a credible opinion on the subject.
