Looks like 12 Angry Men is on Amazon Prime now, so I'll give it a shot sometime soon.

I always suspect when watching that people probably underrate what a piece of **** the baseball fan is among the 12 jurors.

Vertigo didn't work for me, which is really baffling in light of its reputation. I watched it twice because I couldn't really believe that such a lauded work of both Hitchcock and Stewart would be a miss for me, but the second watch didn't do anything for me either.

The Birds was also a miss for me by Hitchcock, though it doesn't have the same level of critical acclaim. Rear Window is all-time amazing, Psycho and North by Northwest are great, and then there's a lot of good (Rope, Dial M for Murder, The Man Who Knew Too Much). Vertigo just left me shrugging.

Of course, as perfect movies for me go, best of luck to anything that isn't a Godfather movie.

The Name of the Wind (first book of the Kingkiller Chronicles) was really good. Like, imagine a book where the compliments toward the Dark Tower are actually warranted, and it seems like this is what you would get.

Good for Ahmed Best, but we're four episodes in and I have no idea what the Mandolorian is trying to accomplish this season.

I couldn’t tell you where the Bo-Katan arc is headed, but I think it’s been perfectly coherent, and I’m intrigued.

That said, we’re currently on pace for the weakest season to date.
