i love sports and my last gf didn't know dick about them, but tried to learn AND I APPRECIATEd THAT she made the effort to try to learn for me but at the same time, it gets pretty ****ing annoying after a while when you're watching a game and every other second she's asking about a rule or who's that number or whatever else

women who actually like sports with a comparable level of knowledge and fanaticism as me ++++++++++++++++ on hotness scale. seriously that's just ****ing awesome. i haven't been able to land one yet, but to dream...

The only sport that is better as a female sport is volleyball.

Also, gymnastics if you consider that a sport. And women's curling is infinitely more superior to men's curling even though they are both fantastic.

Fastest growing sport in the world is women's hockey, so there's that.

A cute girl I know who I consider to probably be 99th percentile as a female sports fan in terms of knowledge and fanaticism posted two Mad Men links to my Facebook wall this past week. Obviously I'm in love now.

I only see my gf once a week at the moment due to distance and I find it hard to find a balance between missing all the biggest games of the season and spending the little amount of time we have together watching football which I know doesn't particularly interest her. She would be perfectly fine with me watching all the matches and tells me to do so but it doesn't seem fair on her or a good use of our time together. I have no idea how I'm going to feel after marriage though, I imagine I would watch sports alone for the most part and let her do her own hobbies.

Stuck at my desk for a few more hours, but all I can think about is being out on the town in Bloomington tonight.

I've been car shopping this week and car dealers have to be the most tilting people in the world. First off I just don't understand why you can't have the prices on the cars, even if you want to mark them up a little still have them on the car. Then when there's no price on the car and I ask how much it is, they tell me they have to go inside and ask their manager. I would think that knowing the prices of the cars would be an important part of being a car salesman but I guess not.

That Badgers final possession was disgraceful. And I thought that BEFORE I knew that they had a timeout. But I mean, Crean had the team stupidly shooting with 12 seconds left against VCU when they could hold for last shot. It worked out, but it was stupid for Sheehey to take that shot. If you have an open dunk then yeah take it, but a jumper? GTFO. Roll more clock. And then the defense completely failed and VCU got an awesome look at the end. Not that IU didn't deserve to win, but we were very lucky.

It's going to take the perfect storm tonight to complete the season sweep:
1. Run well on threes
2. Get the lion's share of the bad calls to go our way
3. Possibly related to #2, get one or two key Wildcats into foul trouble

It could happen, but I'm just not optimistic. At least I can take on the attitude that if we somehow win this game, we can legitimately dream about the national title.

ppl suffer from recency bias that makes them forget that every player on a pro team is a 1st or 2nd round draft pick whereas maybe 5-10 guys at most will make a pro team from a college team

In the process of an epic heel turn to our Regina branch at work. They stole some product I had on hold in their warehouse on me without telling me, so now I have to order it in from our mill in New Jersey and have it couriered to our customer rather than just take it out of our stock.

Little does that branch know that I'm charging the freight third party to them, so they can suck it for nearly costing me a sale. Pricks. In two weeks when they get the invoice and dispute it with our head office, I'll just claim that it's standard and they shouldn't be so selfish and instead act like a member of the ****ing team. **** them.
