I knew this by now with Gamefly though. Hopefully tomorrow. Will offer what thoughts I can PJ, though admittedly nothing about the 16 game really stood out to me. It was mostly just the same greatness as 15 with updated rosters.

Man, I want to watch Tony Romo play more, but if CBS would be willing to kick Simms to the curb in Romo's favor, I'm all for him moving to broadcasting. No guarantee of Romo being great in the booth, but the odds of him being better than Simms are overwhelmingly high.

I sure as hell wouldn't. One underrated great thing about Peyton retiring was that the Broncos weren't the auto A-team game for CBS.

"Groin tightness" is apparently the word on Felix...it came up because of an awkward landing on first base. I mean, that's not a season-ender, but I'm ready for him to go on the DL tomorrow too.

So, what I thought was my second watching of the Office has turned out to be my second watching of the first six seasons and then with the exception of a couple episodes, a first watching of seasons 7-9. I'm halfway through season 8 and wow is it like 5 notches below anything in the first seven.

I don't even think it is the lack of Michael. The writing all of a sudden has just **** the bed. There have been entire episodes where I didn't even crack a smile. As much as a want to finish so I can watch the series finale, I don't know if I can push through. Please tell me it gets better in season 9

It only gets better at the end of season 9. Seems like maybe the 2-3 episodes before the finale get good again, and then the finale itself is great.

I maintain that Nellie is the worst character in the shows history and is a huge reason for the plummet. Robert California was hit or miss, but the season with him and Jo was still fine. The entire "you make more $ as a salesman" subplot was decent. Florida Stanley had some lols. Once they introduced Nellie and had her take over a large role it plummeted.

As of a few months ago, I have a colleague who is like 90% Gabe from The Office. Has basically the same face and is stick-thin to the same extent as Gabe, though this guy is actually short instead of tall. Personality tracks with Gabe too.
