I do hope that the Bills can one day get around to shipping a Super Bowl. That's an "aww QQ they've lost forever and ever" story that I could actually fully get behind, provided that it's not somehow at my team's expense.

I really liked the Same Trailer, Different Park album, but felt kind of "meh" about her last two singles, although I admittedly haven't listened to the album they came off of yet.

Same Trailer Different Park is elite as hell and I agree that it's better than Pageant Material, but I still enjoy Pageant Material.

No particular reason for asking. I've just been hooked on listening to her stuff lately and assumed that you would be basically the only person on 2p2 who might also be a fan.

Nice. I'm glad I have that rep within the wrasslin' community. I'm not sure if I recommended Jess Moskaluke yet, but she's a good ol' Saskatchewan girl who is making some waves (in Canada, at least).

Elevator, Good Lovin', and Cheap Wine and Cigarettes are three that are really great songs.

Corb Lund is a really great country/roots artist, and Elliot Brood is also in the same vein there. We haven't discussed the country music in awhile, but I've definitely been going back to that modern bluegrassy/roots sound recently. Stuff like Old Crow Medicine Show as well.

Well, to be fair, OCMS isn't Canadian.

I'm really finding that to get away from the "stadium country" you have to look to smaller artists (aside from classic like George Strait and Alan Jackson) and so the easiest way to do that is to listen to more regional or local artists. I think that's why I usually end up listening to a lot of Canadian music.

Also because the local scene is Canada is vastly underrated outside of the hotspots like Toronto and Vancouver. Hell, Saskatoon and Regina are producing some really, really ridiculously talented artists that aren't just The Sheepdogs right now.

I work for a political office with an open seat, so I'll have a new (ultimate, not direct) boss transitioning in tomorrow after winning tonight. I don't think my job stands any real danger, but I'm not exactly wanting to see a big turnover in management that inevitably comes with a new administration, just because I'm happy at the job and change is a negative freeroll. Hopefully the shakeup isn't too major or bad though.

It's nice to see this mostly come to a close. I can't wait to see how far technology goes when 2020 comes around so the next election can be even more of a spectacle.

I bet on Hillary back in August at -200 or so. So hoping she wins but either way, we all lose.
