Phil pretty much nailed British knowledge of the Olmpics, all he forgot was "Row faster!". I'm starting to get pretty excited for this summer's games as I luckboxed 100m final tickets in the ballot and I'm hoping Bolt will pull out another memorable performance.

I forgot about rowing and looking at the 2011 world event we should do well. We usually field a really good shooting team too.

There is every chance Murray does well in the tennis and we have a couple world champion women boxers which is being introduced this year.

So in essence we are world class at rowing, chick fights and cycling, decent at shooting stuff and we have a guy who plays tennis.

Oh and i think we do well at horse dressage but i dont count that as a true Olympic event and refuse to acknowledge it.

Canada is usually pretty strong at everything except for male athletics and soccer, so it should be another good summer showing for us. Own the podium!

So I received a couple of invites to a Kony 2012 party and a few to watch some video about it on FB. It was annoying so to try and piss off the overly sensitive on my FB, I posted:

"I don't want to watch "Kony 2012" nor do I want to go to any "parties" relating to it. Thanks."

Well, since then I've been trolled with invites and links to the videos posted on my wall over and over again. Well played, people of facebook. Well played.

But seriously, **** that charity and their deceptive, money hungry, not actually very charitable at all charity.

At least you are getting interviews, thats the main thing, ive not had one in ages and its pretty brutal for the confidence if nothing else.

Im expecting a call tomorrow to sort out the details for an interview to work at the SLC though, as ive got an in there which should increase my chances pretty hugely, which as a British public company means a decent salary and ridiculous pension and holiday perks if i get it. Will be nice to get something proper after a long time doing bull**** with temping and crap. No pressure given they are the only people hiring in my area right now, lol.

Yeah it must suck to be a Seattle fan right now. The 49ers are a very good team, the Rams have a lot of draft picks to help surround Bradford, and Arizona might get Manning.

Nah the Seahawks have a very nice direction going. I'm not unhappy as a fan. I just think the NFC West is on a trajectory now where it's going to go from being one of the weakest divisions to one of the strongest divisions in a hurry. We didn't need the Rams added to the mix as a potentially really strong team in a couple of years too.

I mean granted there's a very non-zero chance that these high picks are just a set of busts that put them into absolute cap hell a la Detroit for so many years until they finally got pretty good this past year. That's what I have to hope now.

Even if they pick well they're a pretty obvious 4th place team this year in the West unless something truly weird happens.
