Here's another one of those thoughts that I think is a good place for here. Obviously could be wrong but...

One of my biggest pet peeves - and really one of my only pet peeves - is when you sit down to watch a movie or TV show with a group where the sole purpose of the get together was to watch said movie or show and people are either on their phone or a computer or get up and down to go do other things a bunch of times without asking to pause. "No, no, keep it going, I'll be right back, etc."

This doesn't bother me nearly as bad as it used to, but it still creeps up now and then when I see it in person. One of my best friends is the worst at this - We were both actively watching Breaking Bad in separate locations and I'd ask a question about a pretty important plot line or something and he says something like "I must have missed it, I was cooking/playing online poker, etc." and I'm like "THAT'S NOT WATCHING THE SHOW!!"

I obviously cared enough about it to make a post out of it but I realize the above may make me sound a little crazy, but just thought I'd share to see if anything joins me in these irrational dislikes.

I went to set it on my DVR last night, and just checked again, and it only indicates that the pilot episode that kicks off season 1 will air next week. I can't readily find a season 2 premiere anywhere in my upcoming DVR.

Not too bad. Some of the choices were blah, but I still enjoyed reading through it overall.

Our official total for the storm was 36 inches. Finally got the SUV free so my wife can probably go to work tomorrow. A neighbor was going house to house with a big industrial strength snow blower and it stopped working when our house was next. Run better, please.

I always hope that the worst snow-related disasters happen to adults who like the snow.

I work from home, so getting the SUV out for my wife was my main goal. Well, my real goal is to be inside by the time the games started, and here we are.

Rumor is we could be getting more snow by the end of the week. At some point I literally don't know where it all will go as it doesn't appear it will be over freezing anytime soon.

As a kid I lived in the "city" and I was always jealous of the kids who lived in the "county" as they would be out of school with just an inch or so of snow. Well, I now live in the "county" and totally understand why they can't get anywhere. Most of the snow removal efforts are volunteer based or people charging to get people out.

How many here are watching NFC championship over Rumble? I've got my biggest bet on football, ever, on this game (Cards +3.5). I'm probably going to play poker, while having the Rumble on in the background, and the game on in the backbackground with no sound.

I'm sure I'll be watching the game until it's either over or a team maybe runs away with it. Should end before or during the Rumble match, so I can at least see the end.

Glad Denver shipped the first game.

Got much enjoyment watching Denver defense destroy Brady. Pats fans are right up there as the worst there is and watching them be all salty cause PEYTON beat them is making a good day just a little bit better.

I'm just glad to have avoided the fate of last decade, when we lost a SB to the Steelers under dubious circumstances and then had to turn around and watch Steelers vs. division rival in the big game two years later.

If this game doesn't go well then I'll have no problem actually happily rooting for Peyton in two weeks, annoying Indianapolis fanboys notwithstanding.

Alright Jim, I spaced on this alleged season 2 premiere of Angie Tribeca tonight at 8:30, but I also have a TBS West Coast channel in my cable package, and at 11:30 it's still advertising American Dad.

I'll go ahead and set my DVR to record that timeslot just to confirm, but I really don't think season 2 started tonight.

Confirmed: that timeslot did not have S02E01 of Angie Tribeca.

Also, what I gather from poking around the internet is that you and I were the only ones who liked season 1. But season 2 did get ordered up before season 1 ever aired.
