To be fair, that Steelers-Cards Super Bowl was before Ben sidestepped felony charges, so our only real grudge with them at that point was what happened against them in the Super Bowl a couple of years prior.

I admit that it's difficult basically ever justifying rooting for Pittsburgh right now.

I'm barely surprised. Really, aside from my own team forgetting to show up until halftime, I've been pleasantly surprised by the football weekend. I thought both late games were going to be non-competitive. Obviously they end up rating 1-2 in competitiveness above the other two.

I am sort of shocked they actually went right for the FG there. It's ALWAYS the right play in that spot but I am shocked at the amount of games I watch where they just keep going for the TD.

While Tomlin does some really stupid **** (he bungled an endgame badly earlier in the year), he does deserve credit for clearly being a coach who isn't just handcuffed to traditional overly-conservative Phil Simms coaching decisions. He thinks for himself, occasionally to his detriment but seemingly more often to his benefit.

tbs releasing the first season of a show called angie tribeca right now with a 25 hour marathon of the entirety of season 1 (hasnt aired before this) and then season 2 starts next week.

its humor is very airplanish. should check it out so far

I was a bit concerned when the worst 10 minutes i saw was when you first turned in (that being koechner's time on the screen mostly isn't a coincidence) but glad you stuck with it.

Err, I think that you got some details wrong. That episode that just ended was the 10th and it was the season finale, and now they're just looping for the rest of the marathon. And then what airs next week is just season 1 again, from what I can tell.

I enjoyed though, enough to be disappointed to find that there isn't a fresh season two starting next week.
