Nice laydown.
It's tough to tell; I still constantly run into people who can just never bring themselves to play sets fast. Nut flush draw would be very much in play for a line like the one that guy took though.
I agree somewhat. I discounted lower sets, as I felt on that draw heavy board with two players behind any competent player would raise a set of 2's or 3's. With the turn action I only bet 150 into 280, thus creating a 430 pot giving him almost 3:1 to draw, I thought this type of player, a below average tight player who isn't capable of semi bluffing and can only raise here with the nuts or a lesser made hand, can only have 45 suited in this spot. But after plugging into poker stove even if I were only to count half the combos of nfd w/ A, I should call. But I leaned against it as the player seemed very strong. I thought I could make money in easier spots even if flopping top set is very hard to do.
Whatever, this hand has been on my mind for almost 24 hours. I'm happy with the fold, I'm md about burning 265 dollars in this set up hand, but that is poker. I can't win every hand.
