I actually forgot about Cosmic Girl. I've never seen Napoleon Dynamite, but I guarantee I heard Canned Heat way before then. If not the 90s, then 2001 at the very latest.

Yeah, I'll need to subscribe to the extra sports package on my cable in order to get the Pac-12 Network. I was going to subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket also now that it's available outside of DirecTV circles, but discovered with some research that I'm actually going to be able to see 11-12 Seahawks games without the assistance of Sunday Ticket this season. Guess I'll manage with sports bar visits on the few weeks that I need to (even though that unfortunately includes opening Sunday).

Football is a year-round sport. Every other sport only exists as a warmup to football season.

I'll grant that I usually get bored quickly with preseason too. Still, I don't even know who's playing tonight and I'm still definitely going to tune in for at least a few minutes.

I recently dropped directv because of some really terrible customer service experiences. The day I dropped them, they didn't care, but since then I've been offered the world, including Free NFL Ticket, a 200 dollar prepaid visa card and like my old package for 50 a month when it was upwards of 200 dollars...the irony of all this is I moved to comcast. Despite all those offers we're still mad enough about the experience we still might not go back.

Where do you get NFL Package outside of directv? That was one of the hardest parts about dumping directv initially, but I see my local team with comcast (Redskins...I mean Washington Football Team) and I get Red Zone for like 5 bucks more. However, in general, just interested in hearing how else you can get the package should I decide to pull the trigger.
