I don't look forward to having to shell out 60 bucks for snowboots finally. Ruined most of my shoes trying to drudge through snow all last winter in a stubborn effort.

At least I get to wear jeans to work if it avalanches and we do t take clients in that day! (Also, paid snow days)

I got one paid snow day back in January or February, but that may never happen again. It only happened in that case because the Indiana Department of Transportation declared a state of emergency for my county that day, where it literally became illegal to be on the roads unless you were in an emergency vehicle. Apparently that was a first in like 30 years, so I'm not counting on that to repeat itself.

I don't mind snow at all. I'd much rather have snow than 40 degree rain.

40 degree rain doesn't cause nearly the level of destruction and chaos that snow does. I mean, all of it is unpleasant to be outside in of course, but rain that doesn't affect road conditions, knock power lines over, etc. is pretty harmless.

Plus rain doesn't stick around for months

One day of freezing weather and my tires are back to bursting. Third one this calendar year. Firestone oughta throw me a freebie for all the business I give them.

Got the entire room doing the YES! chant during my public speaking meeting last night. I was giving an oral evaluation of a girl who needed to incorporate more energy and power into her speeches, so I gave a demonstration of how I warm up before giving a speeches.

They ate it up,and that'll be another notch in my ridiculous reputation (albeit I am VP of the club, which is one of the biggest chapters in the country)

I have plans tonight with my friends to get together and watch Godfather II. One of them hasn't seen it yet. I will basically bully anyone I'm friends with into watching those first two movies.

You should do an old fashioned double feature and follow Godfather 2 with The Room

Yes it is. Probably will actually do a Daniel Bryan-themed speech at some point next year, covering his initial struggles in WWE to winning the WHC at Wrestlemania.

Awesome -- I joined in May. I've seen worlds of improvement at work and in my general conversations. Wish I would have discovered this when I was 20 (42 now).

In my icebreaker, I mentioned DDP Yoga -- ended up meeting another old-school wrestling fan because of it.

At one point during Steve Austin's Hall of Fame acceptance speech, an awkward moment occurs where he makes some sort of undeveloped half-joke about being unhappy with the Men's Wearhouse, and then seems to wait for laughter. Then for some reason the camera pans around and shows that people are actually out in the audience giving him courtesy laughter.

Dude. You don't have to engage in courtesy laughter just because it's Steve Austin. In fact, nobody should ever engage in courtesy laughter unless maybe you're dealing with a kid. I arbitrarily care about their feelings for whatever reason. But if anyone else attempts to be funny and isn't funny, it's time for either dead radio silence or "that's not funny." Send the message to the world that they need to get their humor game in order or they'll be left behind.

Speaking of humor, how did your Godfather 2/ The Room double feature go?

Obviously each and every Godfather/Godfather II viewing is a new elite experience.

I will say that two things always bother me when Michael visits Hyman Roth's home.

1. That he turns down a tuna sandwich.
2. That he says he doesn't follow football anymore.

Meh, tuna is the Barry Horowitz of sandwiches.

Granted that I don't tend to really bother making many tuna sandwiches for myself, but I'd be very unlikely to turn one down.

A Reuben sandwich, now that I would turn down.
