Reminds me of Michael Scott on The Office after running over Meredith. "And the doctors did everything they could to save her life, and...she's going to be okay."

Or the doctor from Arrested Devlopment. Doctor-"He looks like he's dead." Michael Bluth-"Wait for it." Doctor-"He is covered with blue paint. He looks like he is dead."

That doctor saying that Buster was "going to be all right" because he was going to lose his entire left arm was pretty great.

I feel a little weird with the biggest task of my job being to oversee and correct all the data entry and appointment-booking errors of everyone in my company, including my immediate supervisor and the program manager. It's more annoying that my direct superiors a)won't allow me to tell my co-workers what they are constantly doing wrong, as that's consideried lording over them, and instead want me to tell them while they send out a generic email to the entire staff that fixes nothing, b) are guilty of the worst mistakes of anyone and c) won't own up to it at all when I bring it to their attention because it's such a huge mistake that I need clarification on what the hell they were trying to do.

Also, I'm a full-time temp.

Sometimes full-time temps prosper.

Really though, I was stuck as a temp in my current job FOREVER (over three years, over two of them after graduating law school), so even though I finally got made permanent a month ago I feel your pain.

It was a screwy situation where I eventually was doing the exact same job as the other full-time lawyers in the office, I was just getting paid way way less and barely making ends meet for multiple stressful years. Thankfully things have finally stabilized.

I don't know, I love the godfather, but I think 2 is better. You can skip pt 3 all together IMO.

After watching it, I can say that it is a very good movie, but not my favourite.

There's room for liking 2 better, but I tend to resist that impulse just based on the fact that 2 would have a much harder time being elite on its own without the support of 1.

This was pretty much how I felt until I watched it a second time and it really sunk in. That's when I went from "it was fine I suppose, maybe I should watch it again someday" to "holy ****ing ****, greatest piece of cinema ever."

The acting was probably the best I've ever seen, but I was confused in some parts. I'll probably watch it again one day so I can fully understand/appreciate everything.

Yeah, it was my experience that I definitely didn't get everything on the first go. Would certainly encourage you eventually giving it a second go; I'd expect you to like it quite a bit more.

Thankfully I lucked my way into getting paid more than all the other admins because the then-program manager didn't understand the ****ty contract my temp agency has with the company, and offered me a raise when I got promoted/put on full-time (as in my temp agency "demands" they profit $12/hr off of me, as in they charge the company $25/hr for me and give me $13/hr). So I do make more than all the other admins at least (which in reality is fair, since I review all of their work and have the most important administrative responsibility), Every time they bitch about it, I remind them they have company health insurance and I don't, though

I think that people who insist on backing into parking spots in busy parking lots are indefensible sociopaths. GTFO with that ****, just enter a spot and keep traffic moving. One exception is event parking, where I guess I understand it as it can actually save you a significant chunk of time getting out.

And obviously taking the time to back into a spot is fine if you're all alone in the lot, but what kind of human being makes other cars wait while they do that? Holy ****. (Again, I can make the exception for event parking.)

On a similar vein, my friend at work always backs into spots. However, he has a backup camera and refuses to actually look behind him. He pulls into spots 100% staring at the screen with the black and white fisheyed camera view. Scares the hell out of me every time.

The worst is when an able-bodied(?) person parks in the disabled parking spaces. **** you.

I back in to parking spots as second nature. It's protocol in the army and I pretty much do it civvie side without thinking about it. Sorry, LKJ.

The Subway downstairs from my office features a crazy lady working during the usual time I'll go and buy something for lunch. She refuses to act normal and will continually recycle the same jokes over and over again. Today I heard no fewer than three consecutive customers have this EXACT same exchange:

Her: What will you have?
Customer #1: <orders sandwich>
Her: Nope can't do it. <awkward pause> HAR HAR HAR, okay yes I can.
Her: Alright, you're next, what will you have?
Customer #2: <orders sandwich>
Her: Nope can't do it. <awkward pause> HAR HAR HAR, alright alright I'll do that.
Her: Alright, you're next, what will you have?
Customer #3: <orders sandwich>
Her: Nope can't do it.

Like OH MY GOD LADY, STOP THIS MADNESS. She manages to tempt me to go further away to get lunch.

Sounds like you need to shrug your shoulders then leave before she hits her "punchline", so that she loses your business and stops the crap jokes.
