This scene is pure insanity. The length of time between the clerk saying that the total is 18 dollars and Johnny handing her the cash and saying here you go, is about 2 milliseconds

I really detest the practice of a pedestrian stepping out into a multi-lane road when a car is coming in the middle of the lane, when the pedestrian comes out with the intention of walking, then stopping and waiting on that car, then crossing the rest of the road. I'm all for good efficient jaywalking, but that **** freaks me out when I'm driving because you never have any guarantee that they actually see you and are actually stopping to wait until you've passed...so I end up braking and slowing down until they come to a full stop, then continuing on.

If you're going to jaywalk, just wait until a time when you can safely do all of it. Otherwise, find a damn crosswalk.

Sometimes I'll ask a person for help, and they'll be unable to help. Then I'll say "thanks for your help," quite sincerely since they've done all they can. I always wonder if it sounds sarcastic.

Now that I try to track it back, I'm guessing that I don't actually say that. I probably always modify in some way. Context of this one was that I had given someone in my office a file and the system was still showing that I had it. I talked to her, she tried to track it down, but eventually declared it lost. She apologized. I said, "Well thanks for helping and looking anyway."

Obviously the extra words totally change it from what I was saying in the last post.

I always find it awkward when you see somebody you know from way far away and you're walking toward each other. Like what am I supposed to do? Yelling to them from that far seems crazy, so that's a no. But in the meantime, we've both spotted each other, and I'm not going to spend like 10+ seconds in a row staring this person down as we approach each other. So I always do something awkward like play with my phone or look at my watch or something, because suddenly staring straight ahead doesn't feel acceptable to me. I have to kill time until there becomes a reasonable question of whether or not it's okay to say hi yet.

I usually wave and give a quick smile, followed by the phone play.

Also, I rarely run in to these situations due to my lack of social skills.

I find that just doing whatever comes naturally is best. Usually it depends on the person for me, but based on most of my relationships generally it's a look of fake disgust followed by a "the **** are you doing here?" followed by handshakes or hugs.

I don't get it...

Motorbikes are terrible though and anyone who uses one should feel very bad about it. There is some **** who lives by me who revs his up for like 15 minutes every ****ing morning at like 5:30am. Also I find bikers in general to be pretty obnoxious and unlikeable.
