Wrestling OT/LC Thread: We'll Stop Talking About Star Wars Eventually - Page 193

I went to an independent wrestling show on the weekend and during promos, the crowd would "What?" guys. I don't follow the company all that closely, only going to a show every few months, so I don't really know/care about the story lines the promos were covering, but it was still annoying. And most of the guys are pretty bad at promos, so they had no idea how to handle it. I mean, how do you handle it? They tried pausing to let the crowd have its fun, and some tried talking through it. Nothing worked.

Destroy the arena from space?

The "What" thing is far and away the worst thing that wrestling crowds do. It tilts me so bad I want to change the channel when it happens. They did it at the HoF last year, and everyone doing it should have been thrown out. Actually I am calling for a WWE ban on audience "what" chants with the punishment being ejection.

I figured it was something that twenty-somethings like and thirty-somethings don't (because the twenty-somethings were little kids at release while I was a high schooler). I've run into a few of those.

On my podcast catcher, it looks like there is one called old school Love line with the old Adam and drew shows. I'll probably pick them back up soon.

Hard for me to imagine someone besides Adam with Dr. Drew. Drew was great, but it was the chemistry that really made it top-notch.

Yeah theres a classic loveline podcast on podcast one, been listening to it a ton. Very enjoyable. They do a show together now as well, but its rather odd listening to Adam being a total grownup talking about raising his kids.
