My dating life has slowed considerably over the last year but that's mostly a product of my work consuming most of my waking life. No regrets

The only ppl who know I watch wrestling on a semi-regular basis are the ppl in this forum

The only law school friend I had who took great interest in wrestling and who I could talk to as if he was one of you guys got better action from very hot girls than I could ever understand.

Even setting that anecdote aside, it's pretty obvious that no one piece of trashy entertainment that a person consumes is responsible for holding a person back from getting laid on a regular basis.

I haven't really followed the story closely enough to form a strong opinion. Like...I never trust someone who first conceals all, then slowly rolls out smaller confessions to lying that seem to creep along toward more lies, etc. Like I swear Pete Rose bet against his team at some point while he managed them (if not while he played with them), and that we're just done hearing more from him because his HOF eligibility is up.

So the kid's probably full of ****, making it the most bizarre story ever, but again I just keep skimming the stories so I'm not really catching everything and I could be drawing wrong conclusions.

Not one but TWO people did pro wrestling jokes/bits tonight at my sketch show. One guy offered to dress as Doink The Clown for a father/son ball where his son would be Dink, and no one but me laughed. Such a random reference.

Another guy did 5 minutes of how cool pro wrestling is, and that we should cut promos IRL (this could be done well, but wasn't). He then went into his gimmick about him playing a top student feuding with his teacher, and man, that room went silent. The host went up and asked if anyone had predictions on the Rumble, still silence. Having said that, look forward to my Cold Stone Steve Austin sketch bombing next month!

I think the fact that I'll actually look somewhat like Austin, with a similar voice, and that I stun somebody and dump milkshakes all over them, will compensate for it being LOL PRO WRASSLIN

Similarities to someone who was regularly on TV a full decade ago won't help much. This is doubly true for a crowd that has proven to reject the subject matter.
