I mean Im 25, and 100% couldnt take care of a kid atm. Being free in the 40s sounds pretty damn awesome though. Are you married or no? I dont intend to get married till Im at least 27-29 personally

Yeah I mostly meant for my age, so this is pretty close!

If the goal is "being free," then that goal seems to me that it's best attained by just never giving up your freedom to begin with. I realize that the experience would be a rewarding one too, but I just have a difficult time seeing the positives winning out over the trade-offs for me personally right now.

I'm pretty sure I have no problems getting married if I found the right girl right now at 22. I mean, a lot of my friends are married, are getting married soon, or have been in long relationships to begin with, but maybe that's a product of my location.

Going to a wedding at the beginning of September for two people I graduated with who have been dating for 6 years. Again, they're only 22.

See thats my opinion too, but I bet once we hit 30 or so well have a big change of heart. I wonder how much having all your friends married with kids changes a viewpoint.

Thats common for me as well. No offense meant to anyone, but I think its stupid. Youre promising to be together forever, whats the rush? I refuse till both sides are settled into a career and have all their **** together.

Im partially biased bc Ive read alot about divorce in Amurrica and my Dads been married 3 times. People just ****ing rush so much

I'm 29, a little over six months to 30, so I am a decent bit closer to that point than you are. I have a number of old high school friends who have kids; one of them has a wife and three kids. I don't know how powerful this point is, but: I don't envy that aspect of these people's lives even a little bit. Not one iota. You'd think that I'd feel something in that direction, but no. That's why I'm dubious that I'll necessarily change my mind.

Again though, a woman wanting kids is not something I see as a significant negative, and if I got married to one who wanted them then there's just no way that I'd steadfastly stand by an attitude of "nope, not doing it." Without a prospective wife in the picture right now, it's a bit difficult to have a full enough scope to tell what my long-term attitude will be.

I had this weird dream where Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue was trying to both teach me about accounting and how to fend off from the Big Show who was going to attack anyone sight seen and also when Show was about to attack me, a couple of old poker players actually helped me run away from the scene.

Is there anyway to make sure that I can never dream something like this again?

So apparently I just have no idea of anyones age. I thought we were closer than that. Im gonna have to start PMing you about my irrational fears of life being over at 30 lol.

Yeah I took time off between undergrad and law school and worked. But most of my friends here in Indiana are your age since most of them just went straight through. Some of them went to IU too, so for all I know I'm good friends with somebody you've met or at least gone to class with.

Yeah I took 2 1/2 years off in between and feel like Im so damn far behind everyone. That has a lot to do with playing poker for those years instead of getting real work though.

I mean I honestly feel like I wasted a good chunk of my 20s; that period of my life really feels pretty worthless to me now in hindsight. With that said, it's not like I could have gotten into a good law school straight out of undergrad since I had historically bad grades and really needed some separation to be able to say "hey yo, that really isn't what I'm like anymore." (Not that I was looking to do more school at that point anyway.)

Being in school is a blast. I'm not particularly glad that I'm done forever now.

To be fair, I was one of 2 of my decent sized circle of friends who didn't go to university, so I pretty much attended all the parties and functions one way or another. Even sat in on a class just for fun here and there.

Lets hope were both in the "be really successful and rich in the 30s and 40s" camp, while everyone else is busy having kids.

Undergrad was fun. Now Im just stressed all the time, not quite the same experience.

Im so pissed. Found a guy on craigslist buying wrestling figures. I have tons still from when I was a kid. I told him what kinds I had and he wouldnt give me an estimate over the phone.

I lug them over there and he tells me they arent worth anything. had to hold back from punching him. It was such a pain to bring them

In news that wouldve been cool in 2011, I just got an early bday present, CM Punks Best In the World t-shirt.
Now deciding if it should be a gym t-shirt to go along with a Padres and Oakland A's Zito t-shirt rotation or use it during random days.

No way that is a gym shirt. Wear that out and proud.

Punk's back to being the best thing in wrestling again, so it should be worn often.
