I actually prefer S2E10 for favorite of the series due to its complete insanity.
Trying to keep the server running while the guy drinks his own piss after Manny Pacquiao tweets out the feed, Erlich coming out of carpal tunnel induced retirement to help keep things running, Gavin not understanding that his non-compete clauses are illegal leading to Richard winning the court case. Richard's phone dying, losing his keys, email sent to junk, running home from the bus stop all while the guys fight over which lemons to use for their final toast beer before nuking the system, only for Gilfoyle to successfully hit the kill switch just as Richard arrives but it fails due to Dinesh's shitty code.
S2 is probably my overall favorite, holding a cohesive story from E1 to E10, ****y, the Homicide SWOT board (grief threesome with Gina and Blaine's hot mom?)The introduction of Russ ****ing Hanneman. Seth's "Black hat attack" that leads to Russ showing off his car with a bow as a present to himself.
Yeah, I credit this thread with turning me onto that show, I made a comment about Zach Woods (Gabe from The Office, much funnier on SV) and then I didn’t get PJ’s “this guy ****s” response until I drew the similar “OMG watch it immediately” response. Awesome show.
Michael Scott walking into the office and yelling "I DECLARE BANKRUPTCYYYY" in season 4 is a joke that was hacky as hell on paper and shouldn't have worked, but I've always laughed really hard at it.
One of those jokes that Steve Carell absolutely salvaged when most actors could not have.
I took a COVID test tonight. I was dreading having to take one of these tests, and it was absolutely nothing. I realize that this is the result of them changing to a way less obtrusive swab than they were using for tests at the start of this pandemic, and maybe it was really awful months ago, but if you haven't had to take one of these tests: there's REALLY nothing to it.
They estimated 72 hours. Since I took my test late enough in the day and FedEx had already gone out, they said it would go out tomorrow, so I'm looking at a timeline sometime during the weekend.
The nurse practitioner asked me, "Have you taken one of these before?" I said, "Nope. Terrified." She said, "No, no, it's really not so bad anymore." She demonstrated how far the swab used to have to go up the nose vs. how far it goes up now, and it's a significant difference.
I went in because of several symptoms that check the boxes, but it's out of an abundance of caution; I expect it to come back negative. I'm not sure I would have gotten tested on a day off, but today I was scheduled to be in the office and I was caught in the place where I felt weird about being a potential virus carrier bringing it into a public place, but if I'm begging out of going into work over COVID symptoms then I really need to get tested. The stuff I'm feeling would be garden-variety "feel kind of crappy, but oh well, I'll deal" stuff any other year, and I wouldn't really bat an eye at it if the pandemic wasn't happening.
Huh. Reported my COVID-19 test to work and gave them a detailed account of people who I interacted with briefly yesterday, they're sending those people home and asking that I stick with WFH until I'm 10 days symptom-free, even if/when I return a negative test result.
I appreciate a highly cautious approach, especially as Indiana is now trending in a bad direction with this virus, but 10 full days of staying away because I said "I had minor symptoms and today I feel mostly fine, just waiting to get an all-clear on my test result" seems like overkill.
An interesting look at how Jerkass a homer ruined the show
Here's one of my fav videos (and I'm not even a Simpsons fan). Excellent look into writing and evolution of a television show. Seems to have similar commentary but more in depth and more about the whole show.

SuperEyepatchWolf has an excellent series about wrestling as well
