I actually don't even know the context of this one myself. I'm usually plugged into the NFL offseason, but since this one has largely consisted of the Seahawks voluntarily dismantling in hopes of getting better again by 2019, I haven't been very motivated to keep up on the rest of the league.

Seems clear that it's some sort of reported friction between Brady and Belichick, but I dunno.

I think it has something to do with the feud brewing between Brady and Belichek over a health guru that Brady employs and was bringing to team facilities. Apparently, Belichek doesn’t want someone like that around the team and it’s caused a kerfluffle. I don’t know if anything else has happened, since I don’t waste my time worrying about inferior teams like the Patriots.

I'm late, but for next time:

Nier: Automata is the best game I've played in the last 10-15 years. It's an action RPG that has a wonderful story, characters you actually care about, an amazing soundtrack, and beautiful visuals. With all that said, the best part of it is the actual gameplay. It's so quick and fluid in combat where you're always having things to do. It's just FUN to play. I think you'd really dig the overall themes of it too.

I cannot praise it enough.

Thanks for that rec, I'll keep it in mind. In terms of combat preferences, I might be weird, because I fell in love with the turn-based style of Final Fantasy X and have since clung to the preference of wanting to fight strategically without time pressure over having to deal with the time pressure.

As far as the draft goes...the Seahawks have spent the offseason dismantling the team's key parts, then they spent a first-round pick on a running back. I'd like to be able to believe that this offseason has some greater purpose that will put us on a road back toward being as strong as ever starting in 2019 or something, but I'm finding it increasingly difficult. I'm happy to have a coach and GM who are willing to slit throats indiscriminately, without worrying a lick about sentimentality (as opposed to the Mariners, who are currently wasting a roster spot on Ichiro for no apparent reaosn), but I can't yet find the wisdom in what they're doing.

Oh ****, if you're into turn based and haven't played it yet, Xcom and Xcom 2 are 100% must plays.

The latest South Park games are turn based and very good if you're a fan of the show, prob not worth it if you don't watch the show though as a lot of the jokes are references. FWIW i hate turn based but it was worth putting up with.

Looking at getting the new God of War game, anyone know how important is it to have played the previous games? (not played any)

I like it when a person blatantly cuts you off in traffic and then waves to you...not seemingly intended as an apologetic/conciliatory gesture, but instead apparently intended as a thank you for allowing them to do that. Dude, I did not consent to this. Your "thank you" is just piling on.

It wasn't that bad. I wasn't even that tilted when the above occurrence happened. I'm just always left shaking my head when that happens.

There's definitely a preferred ranking of:
1. Wave with a pained expression that indicates sorrow for being terrible;
2. Be unapologetic and continue forward without acknowledgment;
3. <gap>
4. Wave "hey, thanks!" as if this situation was consensual.

Im very much a number 1er. When I **** up, I kinda frown, lower my head, and raise my hand sheepishly. When someone does the same to me, I tend to give them a pass, cause yeah, I've done it before too.

Yeah same, I'm far from perfect on the road and I try to do my best to express it when I realize I've ****ed up. Usually some combination of mouthing "sorry," putting my hands up, and making this face:
