I’ve seen most of Sports Night. Good show. Josh Charles went on to be a lead on The Good Wife.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give it a go.

The end of Lost was pretty poor, but about as good as what they could've done I guess. Certainly nowhere near Battlestar Galactica-bad... what I would give to go back and never watch the last few episodes of that series...
I've thought about watching House. Can't quite get myself to do it but maybe I will at some point. I never finished Battlestar Galactica. I always meant to go back and complete it because it was a good show. Maybe I am better off not having done so.

Pj,

I used to be very into AFL and absolutely had to have the footy cable channel on during the season. I just don't care as much now and watch what I can on free to air, which is more than enough realistically especially when you take into account all the football commentary shows available too.

And Jason Molina who played Jeremy had a long lasting part on the West Wing.

It's not as though some deadline passed that prevents you from subscribing now.

Thinking of getting super high speed internet, it would be pretty hilarious if it then still didnt work fluidly

I had some occasional laggy moments today during the Mariners FWIW, though it was nothing too egregious.

Last year it was fine on a computer, but I watch most stuff through roku or xbox/ps and I couldnt even get 2 consecutive pitches without lag. Its always been a decent product for me on my laptop, but thats not really my use case anymore

I mostly watch on PS4, and it's mostly without significant issue. Never bad enough to make me seriously consider not subscribing, particularly when it's the only way I can regularly watch my team.

Do you do all teams or the single team plan?
Wrestling OT/LC Thread: We'll Stop Talking About Star Wars Eventually Quote

Got the full package. Looked at getting the single-team, but the full package comes with the full mobile At-Bat app access, which allows me to dial a game up on my phone when it's out and about, and single-team doesn't come with that at all.

If you signed up for single-team + At-Bat for the full year, the full package that includes At-Bat costs less than $10 more for the full season I think. Seemed like a no-brainer to spend a few more bucks in case I want to tune in to non-Mariner games at some point for any reason.

Wally,
The new Kacey Musgraves album is pretty strong. I'm guessing she won't ever match the greatness of her debut album, but album #3 might outrate album #2. It's been out for less than a week, so my opinion is still subject to significant changes.

I will check that out. I've been a bit out of the loop with new country music nowadays, as I no longer listen to the radio and sometimes get stuck in a "what you know" trend on Spotify.

The new song by Brothers Osborne, "Pushing Up Daisies," is a big thumbs up as well. They're great in general.

FWIW Rexx, if you're interested in giving wrestling a further look, this article by an outsider might be worth a read (it's a good read for fans too, to see someone's view from outside the fishbowl): https://www.sbnation.com/wrestling/2...er-holy-toledo

She watched wrestling for the first time last year and wrote a whole recap on Wrestlemania, and it got such a positive reaction that she came back for an encore this year.

Got a link to the encore?

That link is the encore, not the original.

She links to the original at the beginning of the article.

Lkj,

Thanks for the link to the article, it was an interesting read. She seemed to really prefer the women wrestling. I think seeing it live would be pretty amazing due to the atmosphere. I will definitely watch Lucha Underground soon and report back.

Being a Spotify premium member is going to make it difficult to resist signing up with Hulu now that they're offering a combo deal. 99 cents total for three months of Hulu, then a combined $12.99/month thereafter for both services. I already pay $9.99 for Spotify alone.

This annoyed me quite a bit, seeing as I just signed up for Hulu like 3 weeks ago

Ive often said the same thing, I use it probably more than 4 hours a day. Cant really beat the price for that.

Spotify is also a very well run software shop, and that seems to really show. The sign up process to link my account was like 3 clicks

Meh I only use Spotify at work and just mute the Chrome tab when a commercial comes on (& download all other music to my phone when on the go).
