If nothing else, he was able to convince Phil Luckett that his white helmet was a football that had crossed the goal line on 4th down in the final minute of a game. So he's got that going for him, which is nice.

We were waaaay in the red at one point when it came to officiating luck, but the Seahawks basically didn't exist to most NFL fans until the mid-00s, so it was like we were just getting double-crossed in dark matches. Sure, technically Billy Kidman once pinned Hulk Hogan, and there's even incontrovertible video evidence that we can watch in order to verify it, but still, did it really happen?

Powerball being up over $500 million, I went and bought a ticket. Usually under these circumstances I don't feel stupid for bothering to buy a ticket, but this time I felt stupid for basically lighting money on fire (and actually waiting in line behind 4-5 people to do it). I assume that this brief fit of self-awareness is an omen that I will win this time.

There's no greater low risk high reward than powerball. Yes, you're 99.999% of the time siphoning off money, but the 0.001% you hit is legit life changing for you. It's the price of a damn snickers bar. Just don't eat a snickers that week that you would have and you're even.
