PJ,
I did read the first Game of Thrones book and enjoyed it. I guess I'll delve into the second one. It's getting a bit weird that I'm pouring this much time into trying to force myself to like something, but here we are.
When Jon Snow or Arya Stark were the subject of a chapter I would usually sigh and forge my way through, but most of the other characters interested me.

Now if you only put that much effort into trying The Room. It would only take an hour and a half of your life instead of the multiple hours you will put into reading GRRMs tripe
Oh yeah, Bran, he apparently sucked enough to be forgotten rather than being included on the suck list, but I didn't like him either. Seems like he got fewer chapters than the other two I named.
I could deal with Jon Snow being emo if he would have the decency to be interesting. I did watch far enough on the TV show to basically remember his plot with the Wildlings, but I don't remember liking that very much either.
I haven't read any of the books yet, and I recently binge watched the whole season, and the Bran scenes up until the last season were very painful to get through. At least in the last season it started to come together, but when it was tough sledding getting there. Same with Arya.
LKJ: Jimmy Rankin. Listen. Canadian artist who is most famous in Canada for his work with The Rankin Family, but as a solo artist has had a string of east coast inspired indy hits. Country-ish vibe. Let me know how that goes for you.
Well, my heart was pure; I sat and listened to all three in hopes of a better verdict. The first one was the best one, but I still wasn't really feeling it.
