Moorobot has taken hiatus before; hopefully he's not actually a long-term casualty. He's one of our best IMO.

While I've actually reached a point where I don't watch almost any of Raw, I'm sure I won't fully give up on the product in general as long as this board continues to be a good time.

As a Redskins fan I do not want to play Seattle at all. We matchup so bad against them. I would much rather play any of the other options.

I think the Falcons are actually pretty legit. Granted that if I'm a Washington fan I probably prefer going to Atlanta over going to Seattle, but that's a tough call.

The NFC playoff field is clearly weaker than the AFC field, so I don't totally rule out Seattle suddenly getting hot in the way that some other mediocre teams have done to suddenly make it to the Super Bowl, but I'm sure not counting on it. Think "eliminated in the second round" is a pretty decent favorite right now.

I foresee NE/NYG 3, and again, fear another Giants miracle win

I really, really, REALLY disagee with afc field being stronger.

Matt Moore, Alex Smith, Tom Savage, and Matt McGloin are 4 of the 6 quarterbacks.

Dak, Ryan, Russ, Godgers, Stafford, Cousins, Eli are all significantly better than all 4 of them.

ETA: There are realistically 3 teams that can win the AFC (NE, Pit, KC). Maybe the top end is higher in the AFC thanks to NE, but I don't think PIT/KC are significantly better (if at all) than Sea, GB, ATL, Giants.

On Team Halpert regarding NFC>AFC, but I think it's real unfair to Alex Smith to lump him in there with the three backups.

I got summarily triple teamed by the niners, Denver, and Detroit being undoubted garbage fires of awful.

Strongly rooting for a Washington win followed by Packers-Lions both realizing that a tie gets them into the playoffs and a loss doesn't, and taking knees for 75 minutes.

Great memory, better taste in forum posts.

Enjoyed Rogue One a ton last night. Also preceded it but winning a pub trivia contest in a tiebreaker by correctly guessing Lady in Red by Chris DeBurgh off of like 3 bars.

I haven't watched a second of wrestling on purpose since Wrestlemania.

What ever happened to blastoff? One of the few non-avatar posters that I remember because his quips were elite.

I don't know, but blastoff is one of the only ones who didn't seem like an actual person since it seemed his only posts were those one-liners. They were brilliant though.

Given your description he probably left for Twitter and never looked back.

So does Rousey show up at the Royal Rumble or wait until Wrestlemania to debut?

Does she actually want to convert full-time to wrestling? If not, her value as a special one-time attraction has taken a pretty huge swandive.

Yeah this helps the WWE a lot. Not only does it mean they can get her cheaper but it also means they can book her in a way that doesn't make her seem so dominant. Kayfabe Charlotte doesn't look like that much of a dog anymore.

She's obv taken a dip but I still think she has a lot of value left in her.

Just finished watching the entire prelims + event. All I have to say is Cody ****ING Garbrandt. That performance was incredible. He just beat Dominick Cruz down while embarrassing the hell outta him.

Couldn't care any less about Ronda. Not a huge fan of women fighting in general and don't see how she can possibly be used in WWE without making her look like a joke or whoever she's in the ring against a big joke.

I thought he was going to give him trouble but obv didn't expect that. Gained a lot of respect for Cruz for the way he handled the loss though, he took it like a true champion. Going to be interesting to see how a guy that thinks at that high level bounces back from someone who mostly dominated him.

In the after event press conference, Cody said that Cruz deserves a rematch. I don't think anything could be farther from the truth. Cruz wasn't in his league. I thought Cody took all 5 rounds though the 5th was pretty close. Had Cody not been showboating so hard, he'd have finished him at 2 or 3 spots in the 4th round after knocking Cruz down.

Meant to come back to this. I agree that NFC is clearly better on the bottom end, and the field is stronger in general. Based on that, I worded my post quite badly. But if a person is coming from a SB-or-bust perspective, I like a middling team's odds of toppling Dallas in Dallas a ton better than I like a team's odds of winning in Foxboro in January.

I guess my thought process was coming from the standpoint of a Seahawks fan and feeling like I like our path better than what Pittsburgh is looking at as a #3 if KC can grab the second bye. Going semi-difficult home game --> @ Atlanta --> @ Dallas feels much more reasonable than easy home game --> @ KC --> @ NE.

We could still get a bye if Atlanta chokes tomorrow, but not counting on that.

Bama still going to win this, but this game has already been a failure even if they end up winning by 30+. The point of today was to 100% crush the spirits of all fans and well-wishers of the University of Washington, not just in their future football viewing but in life. To make them feel stupid for allowing themselves to feel hope. To suffer a beating so thorough that they would never allow themselves to submit to the temptation of hope again.

Sure, there's going to be some temporary frustration with having lost, but putting up a whole competitive half is eventually going to be seen as a moral victory of sorts, and that's not even an unreasonable reaction to it given what they're up against.

Damn you, Alabama. You ruined our program back in 2002-03, and now you didn't even have the decency to wafflecrush for all four quarters.
