I didn't want to clutter up the Chyna thread, but after posting there, I looked at the TV, and I see that Prince has died. Game, Blouses!

I was sick and stuck at home all weekend. So I decided to play WWE 2K16 and make sure every title has an actual holder. I won every singles match (I lost a triple threat or two) except one--Undertaker lost to Santino! Santino hit his finisher, which makes you unable to kick-out at one. And I mis-timed my next to kick-outs.

I rented that game through Gamefly, and thought it was alright, but I found the controls a bit annoying. I may have just not given them enough time, but I generally had trouble differentiating between picking my fallen opponent up and just doing another move to them. It was hard to keep an offensive sequence going.

The controls are completely unintuitive. When I bought the game I came *this close* to selling it after only having it a weekend because I couldn't figure out how to do anything. I had actually listed it on Amazon and it sold. The day before I had to ship it, I thought I'd put it in one more time and I finally figured out how to play it, so I canceled the order.

It helps if you turn the difficulty down to Easy to learn how to play it before turning it back up to Normal.

BTW, to pick up a fallen opponent, point your right analog stick up. If you push a button, you do a move on the opponent. Other directions might also work, I haven't tried.

It's not a great game. The controls are non-intuitive. It's based on last summer's roster, so no AdR, no AJ, no Nakamura. While the men's division has both main roster and NXT guys, the women's division only has main roster. So none of the Four Horsewomen. The CAW mode is flawed in that I can't seem to get a championship match. I've beaten the champ in non-title matches, attacked him before his matches, and it still sticks me in feuds with other wrestlers. (Although I guess that could be considered realistic.)

But it's a fun way to waste a few spare minutes by putting together "dream matches"

It also didn't help for my personal experience that a proper Owen Hart is unavailable presumably due to legal stuff with his widow and Mr. Perfect was behind a pay wall.

I was still somewhat enjoying it, but then Gamefly sent me the most recent rendition of MLB The Show and I lost all interest in the wrestling game and sent it back. I'll try the next wrestling game whenever it gets released.

Is it worth updating the show if I already have 15?

Depends on how much you value roster updates. The game is awesome just like 15, but it isn't some massive upgrade from that one.

Gamefly offered me a deal to come back for a month for $1, so I did. Then naturally they got another month out of me when I wasn't ready to return MLB yet. Hopefully I'll be sick of it by the next billing date.

Ah yes, MLB The Show Talk - The one video game I've bought this year...

The Operation Sports Forum puts together a full minor roster every year and tonight version 2 of that roster is coming out, which is fixing some glitches and it's going to be up to date presumably through today. I wait for the operation sports rosters every year before I start my franchise or Road to the Show guy. This year it was apparent there were problems with version 1 of the roster so I've been waiting patiently for version 2.

I have a road to the show guy now who's 32 years old that' I've been doing since 2014. Since you can now move that guy to each version of the game that comes out it's pretty awesome. All I do is bat with him 99 percent of the time, so it goes pretty quick.

I also have WWE 2k15 but I've probably played it less than 2 hours. I've spent more time downloading created guys with the thought that I would create my own universe, but I never got into the game or too far with that thought.

A few years ago I created an arena/rings to mimic the hasbro wrestling figures. I stopped playing the game shortly there after but had a friend tell me that it got a few thousand downloads which was pretty sweet. My screen shot for the arena/ring with Macho Man vs. Mr. Perfect.

I would buy The Show if it was for PC. OOTP is really awesome, but I want to actually play some ball, too.

Watched Brooklyn, thought it was very enjoyable. Saiorse Ronan was more deserving of Best Actress than Brie Larson was.

Master,
This Aoki guy that you liked...he seems to tease like he's going to botch every single routine flyball that gets hit his way. The way an average player reacts when they suddenly lose a ball in the sun or find that it gets altered by a late stiff gust of wind, he reacts that way to practically every ball. It's bizarre. And nerve-wracking.

Ohhhhhh yeah.

He is NOT a very good fielder. I liked him for his scrapiness at the plate. Kinda Ichiro-esque. Then again the Giants have never had the best outfield, so it wasn't much of a shock to see him do that on every fly ball

That reminds me of Lonnie "Skates" Smith, who must have screwed up on more plays than any outfielder I've ever seen. Except he screwed up so often that he became an expert at recovering from his initial mistake. He has to be the all time record holder in fly balls caught after falling down during the play.

When people claimed he was done as a player late in his career, he denied it by saying "I can still hit. I can still run. I can still make errors."

Naturally Aoki managed to make an error before the same game was up. Thankfully in a spot where it shouldn't matter.

The #Dolphins say OT Laremy Tunsil had an allergic reaction and is with their doctors. He won't be speaking with reporters today
I've got zero problem with them hiding him from the media, but the "allergic reaction" excuse is amazing.

I kind of wish they just went way over the top instead.

The press conference is cancelled because Laremy's sister's cousin's niece's best friend's uncle's stepfather stepped on a lego and Laremy is offering support in this trying time.

I assume that it's just a matter where the NFL would fine the Dolphins for not making their player available, but that there are exceptions such as illness and the team chose the least falsifiable one.

Damn lawyers.

Just before the draft started, a picture appeared on his instagram, showing him with some sort of gas mask on smoking something from a bong.

He dropped to #13 overall.

The video on twitter eyebooger mentioned and the conversation on instagram isolated mentioned are believed to have been hacks into Tunsil's account by a stepfather who is suing him for defamation after Tunsil beat him up for hitting his mom.

Really the only legit reason for his stock to drop is related to the stupidity of making the video. If he actually made it within the past month or something then it would point to him being a Josh Gordon-level bonehead, which is a real problem that can tank a guy. The older the video is, the less egregiously stupid it is.

He said it was years old, I dunno if that was substantiated or even could be substantiated. I would have been happy to have him drop to my team though.

Had a crazy "I might die" moment yesterday. Traveling for work and was on an AM connection flight from Richmond to Philly. Was asleep and heard a loud BOOM. Smoke filled the cabin and the oxygen masks deployed. We started our descent and the captain announced he was killing the engine. HOLY **** I'm done for. We made a (hard) emergency landing in Philly, and evacuated through the emergency exits. I was 2nd out, and stayed to help people jump off the wing. Here's the story on the local news:

http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/...377567121.html

No real harm and I made my next connection. Just happy to be alive fellas.

Man. That would haunt me for a long time. And you were in that Boston Marathon too. You're running terribly as far as being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Glad that it was no more than a scary incident.
