Yeah, it's not an excuse but he was certainly more of an ******* when he was younger. Of all the times I saw him signing autos in SF, he never appeared anything but humble and kind.

The especially unfortunate thing is that what is now brewing is hands-across-America for the Arizona Cardinals. Nothing the casual American fan likes more than rooting for a historically poor franchise, I guess because long-term failure is noble or something.

As much as I don't want the Packers in the Super Bowl, if they meet Arizona in the playoffs I would pretty much be willing to purchase an Aaron Rodgers jersey if it would somehow help Green Bay win (yes I realize that it wouldn't).

Sequel time! We were ranked last week, and won by 24 last night, so the assumption is probably moving up 2-3 spots in the rankings due to some other losses. The rankings come out, and we're not in there. Also we're not in "others receiving votes." Also we're not in the list of "fell out of the rankings." There had to be a mistake; without a mistake, we literally had to show up in at least one of those categories. Took a few minutes for someone to spot...

Yeah, that missing number was us; we're #20. Maybe they couldn't find the WSU logo either.

Apple Cup on Friday with the Huskies bowl hopes on the line. Oh, the suspense.

Also, the Eagles are an utter disaster. Chip will be back in school soon.

I realize that this is going to sound stupid but my friends dad went to school with someone on the coaching stuff of VA Tech and that they have already started a conversation with Chip Kelly to replace Frank Beamer.

From a random internet guy, I realize this sounds dumb, but it's what I was told and thought I'd share it.

I can easily believe this. Chip Kelly to the NFL was obvious because of the impending doom facing him at the time at Oregon. When the Eagles hired him, I hated it, and I hate it even more now. The only thing that was a positive was the fact that I knew once everything blew over he would run back to college. It appears as though his hand will he forced now, but either way I'm guessing he is gone

Kelly's offense is really fun when it gets a few first downs and gets the tempo up, but for the last like, year and a half, (ever since Foles was hurt) it's been consistent three and outs. Making it ****ing awful to watch.

I'm one of those idiots who defended the moves he was making as GM.

Watching the game yesterday, I wasn't even mad. It's a total waste of energy to get mad at this crap team.

Go back to college, Chip. Back to what you were good at.

I would definitely have no objection to Chip tucking himself away in the ACC. Just as long as he doesn't find his way back to the Pac-12.

A day after this post was made, Adam Schefter says Chip might not be back in Philadelphia next year. I didn't click the article, it was one of those click bate things, but I found it amusing. I thought Chip might stick around one more year as a last ditch attempt to prove that his offense can work in the NFL, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

I was a huge Kelly supporter, but I'm also ready to move on. A lot of people weren't happy when they hired him in the first place, and I see why.

Took my older two boys to see Creed this afternoon. I went to the ticket cashier and said "CREED for THREE" and got precisely zero reaction to the reference.

Anyway, I marked out for two hours. I have a feeling most of you would do the same.

Hasn't that Scott Stapp guy become a huge weirdo or something? Guess I didn't realize that Creed was still out there.

Haha, nice.

I remember seeing them in Louisville 15 years ago, and they fell off the map shortly thereafter.

Anyway, for fans of the Rocky franchise, the film delivered.

Glad to hear it is good. I'm a huge fan of the Rocky series, and Apollo is my favourite character. When I heard 'Creed' was coming out, I was glad his character was getting some kind of closure, but I thought they might mess it up.

Then I thought A. Who would subject their children to that and B. What kind of monster marks out for an entire two hour Creed set.

Creed sucks obviously, but I will confess I did enjoy those WWE "My Sacrifice" video packages 10-15 years ago.

Creed has awesome reviews. I've watched all the other Rocky movies so I'll probably watch this one too, especially after considering the good reviews.

I like two Creed songs, My Sacrifice is one. The rest suck. Okay, make that three.

I just visited SE and couldn't find an LOL Chip Kelly thread. Was disappointed.

Man, am I ever blind. Found them.

Anyway, I really can't stand him anymore. Not as much as I hated Big Red during the end of his tenure, but it's getting close. And at least I have fond memories of Reid's squads in the early 2000s.

And Jeff Lurie is a pussy, too. Chump should be fired tomorrow, but he won't be.
