Yes. Now I'm even more confused because of this question.

Because of my hate of fantasy football?

Okay, I just started watching it recently and just got through season two. I'll brace for a drop-off.

No, both of them seem a bit more crass than I imagine your sense of humor skews towards

When people ask me about The League and whether or not its worth watching, I tell them that my wife hates fantasy sports and hates football even more, and its one of her favorite shows. One bad thing about the show is that its going to cost me a dinner at Gibson's in the near future.

If you dont like Rafi, which I do not, you are not going to like later seasons.

Also they drive me nuts trying to invent words every episode. And their ad libbing sucks balls. Aside from all that, decent show

Oh. Crass humor =/= bathroom humor. I'm happy to indulge in the former but not the latter. I know that The League does the bathroom stuff here and there, but it doesn't feel like a big staple of the show.

As an example, I loved Wedding Crashers. The League seems like it's reasonably close to Wedding Crashers in terms of comedy style.

As for the Lapsed Fan, I didn't even notice it being crass so far. But I've only just gotten going on the second episode.

Im halfway through my second episode as well, and my only issue is that the one guy drops the F bomb a little much and they dont censor out every one. I like to listen when dropping off and picking up my son at preschool so I dont really appreciate that. Now maybe its just these two particular episodes, but we will se

Haha it's funny how I was just wondering earlier today while listening to it about why they're wasting the effort on occasionally bleeping out curse words.

Yeah you'll need to stop that. They get increasingly vulgar and stop censoring shortly.

Why? That movie was terrible anytime the Will Ferrell character was not on screen.

Seems like a difficult task to explain why you like a comedy. I'm a big fan of Vince Vaughn and to a lesser extent Owen Wilson.

They just pivot to a more adult audience. The idea is to appeal to people who watched back in 85-2000, not a ton of 10-18 year olds who did.

You must have Josh Scobee.

There's really no stability in a kicker's job. Even if you're a solid 10-year veteran, your entire career can go away as a result of one or two bad games.

Not that I have a ton of sympathy for it given what they get paid millions to do. But they really spend a career hanging on by a very thin thread.

That's true, you can also be a grammatica and end your career on a celebration of a nothing fg

At least 33, I think.

(Really though, it's just two I'm pretty sure.)

and what a glorious day it was for my teams!

my 32nd favorite team dismantled their opponents in the London game in a way that would depress any fan of the other team, and my 28th favorite team had a thrilling win on SNF after trying to lose over and over that must have depressed said fans even more.

I can only hope Philbin will get lost in London over the next week. Maybe visit Madame Tussauds and get trapped in an endless discussion with wax oprah about whos given away more things

I would think that Philbin has to be looming large as a candidate to be let go in midseason. I don't know how much more ownership could need to see before putting a bullet in him.

Gotta say, -9.5 feels like a massive spread for Detroit @ Seattle. The Chicago game was one thing, but this Detroit team has enough weapons that a stiff challenge from them wouldn't surprise me at all. I rarely bet sports, but if I was betting that game I'd sort of be inclined to take the points.

Anyway, I really hope that the Seattle crowd doesn't embarrass themselves by pre-emptively booing Golden Tate. Related note: the Seattle crowd is going to embarrass itself by pre-emptively booing Golden Tate.
