While that comment was sort of intentionally provocative, I more or less meant it. I don't get why people hate Brady. My best guess is that people hate Belichick/Pats fans/whoever else and then transfer it onto Brady for bringing those people so many wins?

What is likable is subjective I suppose but Rodgers is the rare athlete that doesn't come off as a dufus and/or corporate spoke in the wheel, so while he isn't near the top of any good guy list I'd make I don't see him as especially unlikable.

I admittedly don't see many Rodgers interviews in bears land but in terms of whining you do have to understand the culture in Wisconsin is not forgiving to any form of failure in packers football. I don't know much personally about anyone except the super egos and I don't think you could consider him one of those, but he is one of the best atm and that's always fun to watch whether it's Brady manning Rodgers or whoever, I respect talent first

There's no question that he's probably the best in the game right now, and I'm far from one who hates on greatness just for the sake of it (as sort of pointed to by the fact that I'm propping up Manning and Brady here), but dude just grates on me. That's all, really.

Oh I was 100% on board with him when he first got his shot in the NFL. I thought that it could be the greatest story ever told for the Packers to dump that son of a bitch diva Favre and to have his replacement just break all of his records and make it so that Packer fans never missed Favre for a second.

And then all of that happened, and I turned out to find Rodgers to be grating and unlikable anyway. To be clear, I have no reason to think that he's some super bad guy. I just find his personality unappealing and I will not cheer for him except when I have to.
