I haven't played a Zelda game since Zelda II, and haven't played a RPG since FFVII, and you guys are seriously making me consider this new one

I rarely recommend video games.

This is a 100% must play for anybody who enjoys gaming in general, regardless of preffered genre.

Yeah BOTW is a masterpiece and a must play if you like single player games in general. I can't remember the last time I was this invested in a game that I didn't make. I geek out over how fun it is to play but also about how well all the systems are designed, this will be a game developers will study for a long time, I've already seen some great discussions in dev groups on FB. It's not perfect but man it's close. Also go play Majoras Mask and Wind Waker if you haven't.

People are way too liberal with the "reply all" feature in e-mail at work (and probably elsewhere). A person should put themselves through multiple internal screening processes before inflicting such a thing on all of the recipients.

My company spans 7 offices, yet the central office doesn't know or care that their messages of "there's turkey sandwiches by the sink!" or "congrats Adam on the promotion, yay Adam!" go to a few thousand of us that don't care instead of just the 20 who do

It takes every ounce of my being to not lightly troll one of these

"There's snacks in the break room!" to a large distribution list, many of whom don't have access to said break room, is still far more forgivable than the monster who ****ing hits "reply all" to say "Oooh, these are soo good!!"

This happens? Even if I did have access to the cookies, I'd want to smack that guy.

It's within the wheelhouse of things that happen, and I'm guessing something very similar (but not verbatim) has happened in my experience.

I remember one time when an e-mail circulated that the building's plumbing was down but that maintenance had been called, which led one person to reply all with some sort of bathroom pun. Then 2-3 more people did the same. I could only sit there and facepalm.

I hope this was freshman year of college.

I wish. Though even back during freshman year of college I was a grumpy old man who would facepalm at bathroom jokes.

Hasn't arrived yet. Gamefly doesn't get me stuff overnight; my closest shipping center is Pittsburgh. Hoping for tomorrow, but even that's not a lock.

Ppl would occasionally mess up at world wide company i worked at and send to world wide email groups. This would always be followed by no less than 10 people replying all to say "I dont believe I was supposed to receive this message"

Good times

Followed by the dozen people who reply all to tell those people to stop replying all, of course.

Back in my gambling days, I used to really enjoy betting baseball. It wasn't until the offshore books that you had to call on the phone and fund the account via Western Union did I learn of season win totals. For about 10 years or so I used to bet 4-6 win totals and I did fairly well. Of course I haven't done this in a long time, but I decided to look this year and saw a few that caught my eye.

Astros U 89.5 -130
Mariners O 85.5 +100
Cubs O 95.5 -115
Twins U 74.5 +100

I just think that asking the Astros to improve 6 wins from last year may be a bit much. I also think that the Mariners win the AL West this year, that's why I love that bet.

One of the other things I loved to do was pick one team and bet them every game. But instead of betting them straight up on the money line, I loved to lay runs, usually 1 1/2 and then get better odds. It is a great way to make good money betting the heavy chalk. That is if they don't win all of their games by one run. Anyway that's all I got for now

LKJ whenever you do get the show, post your thoughts. I skipped last year for the first time ever, but considering grabbing it this year

Any thoughts on how Giants setup man Will Smith being done for the year might impact their win total?

Since there are only a handful of relievers that are worth >2 wins it probably only decreases it by about 1

yeah, in 2015 Will Smith was near elite with a 2.70 and 12.96 k/9 in 63.1 IP for the brewers. His fWAR was 1.4.

As we're starting to learn, relievers are becoming way more important in singular big games/playoff series when their usage expands than they are for a teams season outlook. Kenley Jansen will go 3+ IP in a must win playoff game, but he's only pitching 1 inning every 2.5 games in the regular season.

I don't either, but Smyly has been scratched from his last ST start. Hopefully just a precaution for a minor situation, but I'm fully braced for him to start the season on the DL now.
