Almost ordered a PS4 and Bloodborne last night when I was drunk after WM. Gonna wait till there's more games I want though (I don't really play sports games anymore).

MLB 15 gameplay is definitely excellent. Will play from the moment I get home until bedtime tonight.

No frame of reference to compare it to last year's edition obviously, so no idea if it merits purchasing it if you have the last one.

Also, I've only just discovered this thing where there are people who are fanboys of the XBox and Playstation franchises, who tear the others' products down because they want one large corporation to make more money than the next or something.

That's the weirdest **** I can possibly imagine. I'm still having difficulty processing it.

I know that the only thing I would hate about it is spending the money for the system. I have little doubt I would love the game.

For those who have played prior versions, do they still hold up? Maybe going the route of cheap used ps3 and an older version is a better option. Guess I can kind of decide based on how my tourney goes this week

Like, I get that you don't want a business that provides you a service to be hindered in their ability to continue providing you that service. It's ****ty when a place that you like using goes out of business.

But rooting for one profitable corporation over another only makes sense if you're a stockholder or have another financial interest in that corporation's success. Just a super weird effect. The cell phone provider thing sounds even weirder to me.

I'm no ps fanboy, I just straight up think the xbone is a buggy piece of ****. And fanboying consoles makes more sense from the perspective you want more people to play with and want to encourage companies to do things similar. Seems standard actually.

A good example was play station was free to play online, hopefully hammering home that point would make Xbox change their ways. But nope, now they both cost money to use your own internet. Cool

You should dislike snow too.

I'm usually a lot less excited about baseball starting because the Mariners have been bad for so long. But this year the playoff drought should hopefully end. I showed my good faith by purchasing the whole season of MLB.tv instead of just signing up month-to-month with the ability to cancel like I've done in past years.

I see pitches right down the middle called a ball quite often when the catcher has to move his glove a long way, but never like that where it is rather to the glove.

Snow is fine if it melts right away. When it has been sitting there for months it is terrible. So people in warmer weather strangely end up with a more positive view of snow than people who decide to live where snow is actually common.

I rarely spend much energy getting mad at the umpires (aside from the jackasses who try to instigate further fighting by following players back to the dugout), but when he failed to ring that guy up I was frothing-at-the-mouth furious. I sent my friend a rapid-fire string of like five texts about it before he could respond to one. He didn't have the game on and was very confused as to how bad it could possibly be.

That umpire had just been called up from the minors, missed ball/strike calls all night at just a ridiculous clip, and was back in the minors shortly after.
