ok, as someone who has not kept up with WWE for the past year, why is Punk not in the Main for WM? He is the only wrestler I watch for. I turned Raw on last night waiting for Punk to show up, but he didn't. There's no adverts for him or anything. He is on the cusp of something big, imo, there is no way he can leave now. I know he had a title run that really meant nothing since he never got any main events, but, come on.

Although not having him show up until the very last moment before WM and having him in the main, would be so awesome.

Yeah, he's gone. After last night I'd say there's just about a 0% chance he comes back for WM.

If you look back 25-50 posts in the RAW viewing thread I made a long post on why he doesn't deserve to be in the ME anyhow.

The sheer length of it meant something, it was also the main event some of the time.

I agree with .iso, wouldn't really want him in the ME for any reason other than i don't want to watch orton/batista.

Bryan deserves that spot 10x more than punk based on WM29 to now performance.

Just because it's not a work (it's not) doesn't mean they can't come to terms and he can come back at some point. Punk returning AT Wrestlemania and turning heel is very much a possibility. #AdamCircaments

I don't think iso was implying that there was anything wrong with him quitting, just that if he does come back then he doesn't deserve to main event WM, which I agree with.

I would agree. Its Bryan's above and beyond anyone else, but wasn't Punk pissed at return if Batista? That's a slap in the face of guys like Bryan who are major merchandise shifters and fan inter actors, which when successful = £££.

I read that Punk said he didn't mind Dave coming back and getting a push as he was coming back full-time, but that was said publicly before he quit so should be taken with a grain of salt.

Fwiw I don't have anything against Batista returning, but giving him the rumble win a week after coming back was ridiculous. He got a decent reaction upon his return, they could have easily put him into a face program with HHH or non-champion Orton (I'd have personally had Cena win the title and gone Cena/Bryan at WM with Cena joining the authority and retaining, then Bryan winning later on sometime).

Keep in mind that my offer was directly in response to somebody saying there was an absolute 0% chance of Bryan going over and it was laughable to think otherwise.

Fwiw I think it's probably closer to 25% than 50% but since the consensus seems to be that it's gonna happen I figured evens was a fair bet.
