Regal was the one guy who very blatantly made sure to hedge his bets when he spoke on the Chris Benoit tribute episode. He seems pretty anti-murder.

Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation today apparently. Written letter that says she's returning to being a fan as WWE is in good hands going forward. I don't like that. I was hoping her, HHH, and Nick Khan would continue running things even after the sale.

It’s weird how much this saddens me, given that I’m barely watching anyway. It’s just that HHH had very effectively reduced the amount of stupid in the company in a short period of time, and I assume that the stupidity rebuild is already kicking into gear. It should not have been too much to ask that we all get to simply live in the happy knowledge that Vince was spending his remaining years in a constant state of mental torture, separated from the work he needs as much as oxygen. Nope. He’s back to work. He’s officially an unkillable movie villain.

Reading around and people saying something that makes a lot of sense. American companies wouldn't let him run the company because of his scandal(s) so selling to a private Saudi buyer gets him money and keeps him in power.

They may have to go the LIV golf route and pay the networks to air their product.

AEW has to feel pretty good if this deal goes through. The runway is wide open for them now.

Sami Zayn has to be sick right now. Hottest angle of his career and he's gotta feel like the rug is being pulled out from under him. A good chunk of the roster is probably pretty uncomfortable right now.

I've also read rumors that HHH is going to retain creative control too though.

Does any sale have to be approved by government agencies?

There's a decent chance we'll be able to tell who's writing the shows even if it isn't public knowledge. In addition to the overall quality of the product improving since Vince's little vacation, one of the more welcome differences is that there's been very little that I would be embarrassed to be caught watching over the last 6 months. HHH has also done a better job of giving us a reason and at least some kind of build for most matches, even if it's a short one.
