He writes (wrote?) recaps for Uproxx. Pretty hilarious recapping at times, but also riddled with a bunch of over-the-top preachiness that apparently seems to have been pretty far from how he actually conducted himself. I grew to find his writing annoying and stopped reading him years ago, but as I said upthread I didn't actually suspect him to be particularly insincere or anything.

WWE made a ****ton of money last quarter including the salaries of the people they fired.

Man I already would've been livid as the club, this news would get me thinking to the stage of burn the headquarters down level of fury.

NJPW got wrecked (they don't have some large TV contracts like WWE does, it's mostly live shows for their $) and they didn't fire anyone at all.

While he didn't rate among my favorites to watch, it's my understanding that he had a ton of industry respect for work he did prior to that early 90s run with WWF that was my only exposure to him.

DDP picked it up along the way too. As solid as it was for him to keep his gym closed when Brian Kemp went full Leeroy Jenkins while most of the country was on semi-lockdown, it would appear that COVID doesn't believe in karma.
