Melzter is rightfully getting a bunch of heat right now from WWE wrestlers for saying Peyton Royce was thinner and hotter in NXT on a recent podcast.

Rollins had the best response and made me laugh so thought I would share.

When I've listened to his podcast he's never really come across as an intelligent person, he just knows a lot about wrestling.

I enjoy listening to his podcast every week (or twice a week sometimes) but I couldn't agree more. There's a bunch of times that Bryan has to correct him or point something out and Dave tries to defend his (dumb) position and he comes off like a dumbass. This has to happen an average of 2+ times per episode.

I wouldn't even necessarily say that. He's a journalist who excels at gathering information through sources. As a journalist myself, I can appreciate that, and he does his job very well. But it makes him more a man of wrestling knowledge than intelligence.

RIP to Aretha Franklin

Aretha opens WM III

The only way I know of her is through that moment of her playing "America the Beautiful" as I watched that VHS around 600 times since it was one of a handful of wrestling VHS's I had for a few years. Iconic rendition but perhaps I'm biased since WM III is my first memory of watching wrestling live.

Aretha's rendition of that stood out to me as the best. Ray Charles was great as well, but he flubbed the lyrics during the song, so I'd have to give it to Aretha.

My first PPV rental tape that I rented over and over again was WrestleMania V...strangely I managed to not form a sentimental attachment to the butcher job by Rockin' Robin to open that show.

Obviously Tito Santana's sister Arriba McEntire was solid as well.

Isn't the whole idea of being a Heyman guy so that he can use his mic ability to get over worthy wrestlers who don't have those skills themselves?

Why stick KO behind Heyman when he's one of the best on the mic already?
