Why is he fighting? Is there any reason to believe he won't get utterly dominated again?

To be fair, I don't know who "Mike Jackson" is. Maybe they'll dig up the corpse of the King of Pop for one night. Punk might have a chance.

I think it makes an interesting match up when you consider that Mickey Gall beat both Punk and Jackson in their debut matches.

Punk said he's not in it for the money. His main motivation is the drive. He's fighting for glory while chasing that win.

Jackson said he's a professional fighter while Punk is an amateur and that in the short time that Punk's been training, he can't get to the level that Jackson's at.

That's an odd thing to say considering they're both 0-1-0.

The chick magnet thing is super old and not a secret though. He was in a tag team with another guy that had CM at the start of his name.

The guy he’s fighting is also 0-1 and also lost to Mickey Gall. Still can’t see Punk having a chance.

People came up with so many things that CM could stand for and Punk's official stance on it was "it's whatever you want it to stand for".

it was either roh straight shootin' with joe and punk or cabana and punk he confirmed it on there some 10+ years ago, if you are into them they are both great interviews, homicide almost giving punk a golden shower whilst drunk at joes is one of the funniest 'wrestling' stories i've heard

I actually think Punk wins Saturday. Jackson is a BJJ white belt. Punk gets him down and wins by submission. If he doesn't win this fight, he will never win an MMA fight, this guy was pretty much hand-picked for him to win.

So, apparently, Eddie Edwards literally attempted to murder Sami Callahan in their fight tonight. Liked the idea of two guys hating each other this much, but the execution felt sorely lacking. Editing at the end of the match was really lol. Seems like they were trying to recapture the Final Deletion vibe with a more serious note.

They still haven't revealed who's been attacking everyone. Won't say it's good, but they still seem to be trying and are probably more interesting than WWE programming right now. Also read a rumor somewhere of potential Jericho involvement because he/Storm/Callus are all close.

He lasted the entire fight but pretty much got beat up for 15 mins straight. It was a joke. Mike Jackson pretty pathetic for not finishing it, Punk was rocked really early.
