"Nothing is working for Colin Cassidy right now. He’s back on crutches. From what I understand he’s going to go check out to see if he needs ACL surgery again. If that’s the case, that is bad, bad news for him."
Poor guy. I don't enjoy him at all but that's awful. Nobody's said which leg he's injured but from my understanding, it's a lot harder to hurt a muscle that's artificially reattached than tearing one so it seems like he more often than not hurt the other knee.

Yeah never like hearing news like that regardless of if I'm a fan or not. He's still pretty young as well.

spoke with flash morgan webster last night and he said the recent uk signee's are getting £1500 a month and were told don't expect to get much actual work and that they think wwe's uk brand won't happen
he seemed confident him and 2 or 3 others will get full nxt contracts though

As much **** as we give Impact if we ever pay any attention to them and as boring as WWE is right now, because there was little baseball tonight, I caught the show tonight and there might be a couple of things worth watching:

- What I've seen of the Eddie Edwards/Sammie Calllahan feud has been really well done. It's basically been the type of blood feud I've been wanting to see from WWE once in a while for years.

- Looks like they're doing another outside invasion thing. Faces and heels have been left laying in the back last few weeks some sort of symbol left on them. Of course, on one side of the coin is the NWO, but this could also and maybe even more likely end up Aces & Eights Part II

Point is, they seem to have more leeway with creative and are at least trying some stuff with nothing to lose. Don Callis appears to be one of the guys in charge there now and has always sounded like a guy who has a good mind for the business. At the very least, they did enough to make me want to possibly tune in or DVR it next week, which is more than I can say for WWE.

I like that TNA has generally been so bad that a poster feels the need to start with a lengthy apology/justification for the fact that he tuned in to their show.

Seriously though, always glad to see people make posts to mention it if a company seems to have their **** together, if only for a short run.

Yeah, I guess it's one thing to change the channel of a bad wrestling show when someone catches you watching it, another to feel shame about it in an actual forum of people who all watch wrestling. In 2018 though, I just can't function without a game on TV, something additional to watch on the ipad and a game or reading material on the laptop all at the same time. Occasionally, that means Impact on Thursdays.

Haha, yeah, it just amused me to see the underlying tone at the start of "guys, I really wouldn't normally do this or anything, but..."

What's amazing is that this apology/justification has been a lead-in to any TNA discussion for about a decade now. It's incredible they're still in business.

Yeah, I think Hogan and Bischoff's arrival and the attempt to turn AJ into Ric Flair was the starting point there.

I've been enjoying Impact. But I'm a straight up mark and like all wrestling. (Watching ROH London as I type this). And yeah, the Edwards vs. Callahan feud has been real fun.

Don Callis is apparently in charge of creative at Impact now and they have a really solid roster but Josh Matthews is so bad that it spoils everything I watch from it.

~20 hours of modern WWE per year is enough anyway.
Two years ago I was watching everything.

Now I watch the big 4 ppvs, takeovers (though usually on delay the next day), and maybe I'll turn into another ppv if I happen to be around.

It's just too much stuff and it's got so flooded that none of it really matters. It used to be that at least the PPVs mattered, but even those are given the Raw "no finish" treatment now.

It's rough

I lost all interest in watching any wrestling at the beginning of the NFL season last year.

I've always taken breaks from wrestling to watch MNF but when last season ended I had no desire to start watching it again. I still keep up with things that are going on but can't bring myself to tune into watching any of it.

That tweet doesn't appear to be more than a fan doing some wishcasting so far. The account posted this since:

Granted that I think she'll probably eventually get in, but I would expect WWE to let years pass before that happens.

CM Punk just won the lawsuit against him by the WWE doc.

Not a surprise. WWE offered him a settlement just before trial and he said "lol no". Then on day 2 of the trial the Dr. was asked if the statements that Punk made had impacted his practice(s) at all and he said "no". Hard to come back from burying yourself that hard. Punk wasn't an angel either and admitted he exaggerated but lol Dr. Amann.

I hadn't followed the case, but yeah, doc admitting to no measurable damages certainly indicates that this was the proper result.

Punk being no angel who nonetheless deserved the win is pretty consistent with the rest of his professional history too.

For some reason the court thought it was useful to know what CM stood for so after a decade plus of secrecy, CM admitted that it stood for "Chick Magnet".
