He's not a credible opponent for any male wrestler, and his mic skills aren't strong enough to make him an effective manager. They got exactly as much out of him as they could have.

When AJ beat Jinder for the title last week, I made the statement that I thought there would be an accompanying announcement that would make this all make sense. I figured it would have been that Jinder was injured or he failed a test.

Apparently the announcement came and it was that after his promotional trip to India for the upcoming shows the ticket sales were so slow that they had to cancel one of them.

Mahal = draw in India though. Untapped Indian market!

Seems unlikely that it would go as far as costing him his company. I guess the path there would be becoming as toxic to advertisers as O'Reilly did, but it's a pretty different situation with VKM mostly being a behind-the-scenes guy now, and thus he himself is not the show.

Worst case scenario, but probably most comparable in their roles, would be a Weinstein type. Of course, he hasn't even been accused of anything, but for some reason, I feel like it would not surprise me if this thing keeps building the way it does with new people being implicated every day.

This is WWE. They would somehow turn a scandal into an angle.

I'm surprised it's Mick but not surprised if a lot more of these stories come about. Da Meltz has talked about how banging underage girls was just a part of life up until around the early 90's and especially in the territorial system age. Sometimes the girls would threaten to go to the cops afterward and then the promoters would have to pay to shut them up so they didn't get bad press in the area.

Come to think of it, I actually heard this on TLF during the AWA project. It's on part two of the Super Sunday episode before they start critiquing Buck Zomholf's match. For those that don't know, he raped his daughter from age 15-22 or 23. It's quite a story and the subsequent story from Meltzer on the show is great. Also, JP didn't know any of this prior to hearing it on the show so his reactions are incredible. If interested in listening, it's the second match on the show.

It appears she worked in WWE in the late 80s. I think mick was a WWE jobber then. That must be when it happened.

She did work in wcw in 94 but it appears she would have been older than 15 by then.

Yep. I've always had Mick Foley in my mind as probably the #1 unimpeachable good guy in the business. Obviously those types of judgments are made on limited information, but still.

I don't get it either. I posted around WM time that I just can't care about it because it's Matt Hardy. Also, wasn't this a big part of TNA tv when he did the skits? When/If this happens on WWE tv, it'll happen and then it's instantly onto something else without putting their best effort into the segment/character(s) anyhow. The best thing for him would be if he could close the show with whatever he does. Sounds like a long shot but Enzo closed out RAW like 4/5 weeks.

Don’t get me wrong, I fully expect the WWE to completely vomit all over this via idiotic jamming down our throats and terrible writing like they do with anything created by someone not on their creative team that organically gets over, but broken matt was pretty exceptional and the absolute ceiling of fat hardy’s ability

The four states of watching Broken Matt Hardy:
1 - This is really bad.
2 - This is comically awful.
3 - This is so bad, it's good.
4 - I can't take my eyes off this. It's awesome.
