This'd be the conventional wisdom, however, remember that this is Triple H and he got a huge pop doing something special. The odds this goes on tv are more like 75/25 that it doesn't get mentioned imo.

I'm also a big kayfabe fan and think WWE has lost something by letting all the wrestlers portray themselves as friends who are just having fun out there.

I'm a little less pissed about the Triple H thing just because they're in a tough spot with some of their stars out and want to give the fans something special, but it's still pretty suboptimal imo.

Ordinarily I’d agree House shows aren’t canon (remember Juan Cena?) but WWE broadcasting that on their official Instagram and not bringing it up ever again seems unlikely

Yeah it's a great move. Foreigners might actually buy the PPV before it happens instead of watching it for free after Meltzer has rated it. Gedo and Jericho were tag partners at one stage so it's pretty cool he's going back to Japan after all this time.

It's funny, I translated a bunch of tweets from Japanese fans and a lot of them think Vince is sending Jericho over to poach Omega. I don't know why but I just find it funny that some Japanese fans have the same crazy theories westerners do.

I'm curious how (if at all) this'll impact attendance at the Dome. This years WK had 26k people which is about a half full Dome. I'm hoping they can do 35k+ with how their attendance has been doing plus Jericho coming over.
