Apparently Orton turned heel on SD this week when he RKO's Bryan to close the show. This is supposed to set up a match between the two at Payback.

That's a pretty bold move. Bryan seems to potentially be more over than Orton right now but it's hard to see the crowd getting behind Bryan in unison.

The reports said the crowd booed Orton. They said the ending was very similar to Raw 1000 when Punk turned on Dwayne.

As much as we hate Orton, he just works as a "Face" so I dislike this. Internet opinion is turn Sheamus dammit. Realistic opinion is...idk kofi? meh. Turning orton is somewhat stupid after losing Ryback too. Going to be left with no faces again.

Randy Orton could learn a thing or two in the charisma department from Bret Hart, IMO.

I wouldn't mind a Sheamus/Ryback feud with them tearing each other apart, without stupid promos that end in Brogue Kicks every week.

No hate for Orton here, it's just that his character is super boring. He's in the category of wrestler who can't carry a match himself, but if you put him in with Bryan they could easily put on some 4*+ matches. Especially if the crowd gets fully into it.

Orton is decent as a heel. I couldn't take him serious as a face. As for having no mic charisma, the solution to that is give him a decent manager.

I'd love to see Borton join up with Heyman. He was awesome right after the Evolution stuff and up to the end of the Legend Killer gimmick. The 1st couple of years with the Viper gimmick wasn't too bad but it got stale really fast. He needs to dump that gimmick asap and I think Heyman's mic skills are just what he needs.

Interesting IAE, and it probably could work IF Heyman already didn't have Lesnar, Punk and Axel. A fourth really would be pushing it and prob wouldn't work in that respect.

- it’s possible we see two heels turns for Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho. As previously reported, Daniel Bryan is scheduled to feud with John Cena over the WWE Championship this summer.

I hope this is a "heel" turn for Bryan where he is still super over and they still cheer him vs. Cena. I don't really care about Jericho turning heel, he's probably better as one anyway.

If they did it right it could be okay. It'd be like a trajectory Rocky followed where he went from babyface to hitting a ceiling to heel where his ceiling was raised and where he suddenly organically got massively over as a face for a short time before another heel turn in winning the WWF title that solidified him at the top of the card for the rest of his career.
