Wow what a match

I assume those two have never matched up before?

Nope.

Where do you put that match on the card if Joe/Balor is main eventing? Open the show to get the crowd pumped? If they give them time the crowd is going to be exhausted at the end of that match.

I wouldn't think they'd open. They did with Cesaro vs. Zayn for the first special. That was quite a bit different though. Things could be different by NXT Dallas, though, after Shinsuke is on tv for a couple of months. On the flip side, Bayley vs. Sasha was the semi-main event match for Brooklyn, so it could easily go in that slot.

Dallas is his debut. The match gets officially announced a couple weeks before the event. I think Bayley vs Sasha is a good example because it over shadowed the main event. Zayn vs Nakamura could be MOTY quality if given enough time.

Whatever they do Zayn is the perfect opponent to introduce Nakamura to WWE fans.

Whoever filed the report on the spoilers claimed that before the match was announced, Zayn cut a promo that sounded like it was his last appearance on NXT. It was after the promo when Regal came out and announced the match. Nakamura wasn't there they just put something up on the giant board. The person said he didn't know if there was any sound with the video they showed because apparently the pop blew the roof off the place.

They filmed 4 episodes for NXT and this was on the second show. I also don't know how far out they film so I don't know if there will be more episodes filmed for shows before Mania or if these are the last 4 before the show

There's definitely sound. Seems like he says: ""NXT....Sami Zayn....I'll see you in Dallas"

late last year the rumor was NJPW was gonna have a show here WM weekend and it was gonna run during nxt. It's not true but I spent many hours wondering which show to go to and I couldn't figure it out. NXT is fantastic but NAKAMURA and STYLES had me on the fence.

The solution apparently is NXT because they now have NAKAMURA and then go watch STYLES at wrestlemania. Gonna be an incredible weekend. Don't care that I'll have to spend about 0 minutes watching Bray slog across the ring getting offense on BROCK and reigns getting his moment. Friday until around 60 min left in mania is gonna be well worth it

It's so sad that we'll never get that Brock vs. Rock rematch. Any stadium they put that in, the crowd would equal or surpass Rock vs. Hogan.

Watching Bray vs. Brock. Ugh.

Sheamus with an undisclosed injury. Pretty funny that everybody's getting hurt before WM. Vince, keep Brock out of the Fast Lane match.

I assume this is due to rock not being cleared and not WWEs incompetence.

Btw anyone think it's strange that they had Rock on raw but didn't have him endorse reigns or at least do some sort of segment with him?

Hopefully Sheamus won't go to Randy Orton's father for advise on how to treat a broken arm.

Imagine if they had Rock run in at Mania and turn on Reigns.

and Reigns still "overcomes the insurmountable odds" to win the title by putting his foot on HHH's chest, Ultimate Warrior style, after a spear.

One thing I realized watching the 24 on the Network for last year's WM....how many of the guys on last year's event are even healthy or active this year?

1. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro are injured. Los Matadores don't appear on Raw anymore, but I think they are still with WWE. Usos and New Day are still around.

2. Battle Royal

3. Daniel Bryan and King Barrett are injured. The rest are still active.

4. Orton and Rollins are both injured

5. AJ was released, Nikki is injured. Paige might be injured also. Brie is fine.

6. HHH is good. Sting isn't

7. Cena is down. Rusev is not

8. Taker and Wyatt are both uninjured

9. Seth is down, but Brock and Roman are still active.

Actually not as bad as I thought it would be.

So, not counting the Battle Royal, it seems to be around 40% gone/injured.

I made a post somewhere else here that everyone who left WM as a champ last year is currently injured and would not be at WM this year

Not just champs, most of the winners. The full-timer who won last year who's still active on the roster is Big Show. And I don't think he works a full schedule, though he's definitely not a part-timer.

Part timers HHH and Taker also won. So of the 9 matches, 6 of them were won by someone currently injured or retired (AJ).
