wwe wants to bring back nexus. to what extent with regards to the members remains to be seen (obv would be a huge step back for bryan/ryback but could be great for others [otunga, slater, black cena])

not sure what the point of this would be for barrett but this would all revolve around him and would push him into the main event

I don't think they need DB/Ryback, they'd be fine with Barrett/Gabriel/Otunga/Slater/Young and throw in Titus O'Neil to replace Tarver. Just keep it on Smackdown, and keep Cena from re-burying them.

The moment you said that, you know that Cena is going to inadvertently re-burying them, because let's face it, WWE is never going to put anyone/any group on Cena's level as a threat, except maybe Punk and that's even debatable.

evidently cena's not gonna be cleared to go by the time HIAC rolls around, so this is apparently what they're stuck with

the bigger problem is that he really is the only logical person to go with as a replacement in this situation

the way i see it, if you're going to have a main event where you know there's literally 0 chance now that the champion drops the belt, and it's not one of the big 4 PPVs, it's as good a time as any to give an upper mid card guy a shot just to see if they can run with it. triple threat with barrett/rhodes/ziggler and rmj/orton for instance

Wow, that's really bad. Isn't Punk fully fledged heel at this point? Just give Orton the shot before he leaves to film his movie, have Punk go over clean to build his credibility as a heel. and move on.
