Vince can really relate to Reigns and Wyatt because they both are fluent in senile old man.

A few days ago I was thinking that maybe neither Reigns nor Bryan would win the Rumble and instead Vince has someone else win.

Rock/Brock at WM seems like a lock since that's what Vince wanted in the past so Rock winning the Rumble wouldn't be that big of a surprise.

I can't figure out why Rock would want to come back to wrestle Lesnar. Really, I can't figure out why he'd want to come back at all given that his last match delayed filming for Hercules for months.

Having had Sheamus win over Jericho a few years ago, it's definitely possible that he could go for a surprise winner. I find it highly unlikely though unless Cena enters in the Rumble after losing earlier.

Rock vs Brock seems like a match for WM 32 to fill up that Stadium. It was a great match in 2002 but meh at it now. I love Brock but I'd rather see him face a good, younger talent.

Ahh MetsFan dude posted a thread on reddit that is titled "Possible spoiler regarding the Royal Rumble match tonight. Read at your own risk" Using extreme willpower to not click that link. Gonna drop out of this thread until the Rumble is over as well, this is one of the few PPVs where we have 2 great matches that are reasonably unpredictable, and I wanna keep it that way!

Cause maybe he realizes that wrestling Brock will physically make him unable to make future box office bombs.

The big difference now is that they did that during the brand split and it didn't change their Mania plans. Sheamus won that match, and his prize for winning the Rumble was that he then curtain-jerked WrestleMania. They don't have that flexibility anymore (which is good, IMO).

If it comes down to Rock, Bray, and Reigns, I'm rooting for power outage.

I just went to WWE.com to check what time the PPV started and saw a picture of the Rock on the main page. My face melted. Why would WWE spoil something that would have been a nice surprise?

You mean like Daniel Bryan returning to action?

Another reason why Rock winning makes sense is it helps out with the Reigns/Bryan dilemma.

Last edited by I_AM_EVIL; 01-25-2015 at 07:57 PM. Reason: I still think Reigns will prob win the Rumble.

Rock winning the Rumble sends yet another message that the guys we actually see regularly are second rate and don't matter.

I do feel like the fact that they're advertising Rock so heavily makes a surprise Rumble entry a bit less likely. Maybe they'll have him do something else, cost Rusev, or a backstage thing or something.

Stupid if they did ruin it, even though it's been all over the news sites today.

We really don't need another message though. It's been perfectly clear for several years.

Odds significantly decreased in favor of Rock close to Rumble start. Was still a big fav.

Tonights HoF inductee:

Quote:
Arnold Schwarzenegger is going into the Hall of Fame ... not for acting or bodybuilding ... the former governor is being inducted for his contributions to wrestling.

TMZ has learned Arnold will be the next inductee WWE announces for their HoF's celeb wing -- featuring the likes of Mike Tyson, Pete Rose and Donald Trump.

Schwarzenegger is a long time wrestling fan whose appeared at many Monday Night RAW and Smackdown events. He also inducted legendary wrestler Bruno Sammartino into the Hall in 2013.

As we previously reported ... "Macho Man" Randy Savage will also be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 31 weekend.
Things keep getting better.

What the hell has Arnold ever even done in wrestling? Is he going in because he hung around with Andre in the 70s?

On that basis, who is next? Billy Crystal?
